I purchased a Genesis GV70 from this dealership and encountered issues with the vehicle and the service provided. The car was delivered with a defect: the rear windshield edge was installed in the wrong color. When I reached out to both the sales and service departments, they initially promised to contact Genesis for a replacement part. However, I never received any follow-up communication.Upon contacting them again, I was informed that they do not sell Genesis vehicles and, therefore, could not order the necessary parts or offer a solution. This response was not only unhelpful but also contradictory to my purchase experience.They have nice cars, cars' mechanic aspects are awesome. But they need to train their after-sale services better. The managers are nice with great attitude, but their representative for service should have more courtesy.

Went in on Monday January 8th after seeing one of their used cars listed. Went on a test drive very quickly with Matthew who was very kind and pleasant the entire experience I had. No haggling or annoying dealer questions, but was asked a few times if I was interested in financing after stating my price range and interest in the listed car; this was expected though as he was simply doing his job and trying to find the best options for me. Bought the car after taking a second test drive the same day. So far no issues does have high mileage but I knew that going in. Car was so clean it seemed brand new. Matthew even was able to lower the price a bit for me. Everyone made the process of buying my first car extremely easy. Also just a very clean dealer. Would go here again in the future. Matthew even went above and beyond by helping me connect my phone to the Bluetooth. Great guy, give him a raise.

It’s easy to leave a good review for a company when your son works there, but business is business. I bought an old used truck that seemed to be in good shape. It needed some extra service work. Ray Skillman service department went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and it gave me a lot of confidence to buy the truck. Great job Clayton Moore, Internet sales manager, for making that happen. I would buy another car or truck from Ray Skillman. Good people good products.

EDIT: A Hyundai dealership I have never even bought a car from is going to go through the warranty extensions processes to get my car paint fixed hopefully EVEN THOUGH I NOW MAY BE OUT OF THE DATE RANGE. No thanks to these salesman snakes at Greenwood. Still haven't heard a word. Only texts asking if I wanna trade in my car now!I will never buy a car from them again. I have been trying to get them to fix my essentially brand new 2017 Hyundai Elantra forever.Paint was coming off in spots before purchase, but they fixed it before purchase making it seem like no issue.Now I have received two warranty extensions for the car for paint and for the passenger door that also doesn't work open from the outside 90% of the time.My car is down to the primer paint in spots. Pretty sure that may even be close to rusting.I have to wait months to get in every time and now I am pretty sure I am outside the warranty extensions or close. It was the first new car I ever purchased and now it looks like I drive a beat up car and it's from 2017!They sure do have enough time to try to sell me a new car with all the mail they send me. Yeah, I will trade in my car that you scammed me on for a new one sure! Better only owe the same amount still.Go here if you want to get robbed for $18,000 and drive around feeling embarrassed about how your vehicle looks.I will update this post with photos. Paint is coming off on the roof of the car. And around the edges of the windshield and rear window too.Maybe this will get you people to show some sort of effort to make things right because I bet the second I am outside of that warranty it will be a bunch of too bad so sad. No wonder it's harder to get in to get things checked on your car than it is to see a damn doctor.

I had such a wonderful experience with the whole team. Joe Marcello has really set the bar high. His professionalism and level of care is like no other. I have bought 3 vehicles from Skillman. Never again. We just bought a 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid in mid-August. Very happy with the Sales person and finance (we paid cash). Day 1 the driver side A/C was blowing hot. Took it in. Six weeks later the car is still in the shop. And I'm without a car. We backed out of deal, still waiting on agreed upon full refund. Are you kidding me?

Great and easy experience! Johnny was awesome! We'll be back for sure!Editing review: This morning I went to the service department for an appointment I made a couple of weeks ago. The first woman (short blondish hair) was shockingly rude when I was brought in to the department to check in. I was honestly taken aback.... I'm well aware the service department was backed up. I saw the five cars in front of mine. How is that my problem when I made the appointment weeks ago? Her attitude needs a major adjustment. The younger gal was definitely more chill than her coworker and took care of me right away. I appreciate her kindness and I sympathize with her for having to work with an unpleasant coworker. I'm not understanding how an appointment I made weeks ago is a major inconvenience? How about you not offer those appointment times on your website if it's too much? And I don't understand how an oil change takes more than 6 hours when I made an appointment? There was no need for her to tell me the department was backed up. If I didn't have a trip planned this weekend, I would've canceled my appointment and gone elsewhere. No need to be bitter at 9:15 in the morning with a paying loyal customer.

Had a check engine light. Was told that you could not wait to have the problem diagnosed. Had to leave the car there 2 days. I was in a rental. No loaner cars. No car rental discount. Once the problem was diagnosed (a sensor) I was told that the part had to be ordered and may or may not be there in three days (Friday). I had plans Friday. Three extra days or more paying for a rental car because they do not keep parts in stock was not acceptable. Paid them for the diagnostic and took the car to Midas who installed the sensor made by the same manufacturer that Hyundai uses. In general I think that car dealerships are so busy (took me a month to get the appt) that customer service is not as much a concern as it used to be.

My husband and I are second time buyers at Greenwood Skillman our first problem our battery died $300 no warning, no indication light not under warranty and I drive it everyday then not a week later the transmission went out no warning no indication light on our 2019 Kona/ with 30 thousand miles, still under warranty thank goodness!!3 weeks later after sharing our other car 2022 from Skillman we got a rental last Thursday on Skillman and we only get to keep it for 3 to 4 days!!! After that it’s on us they have NO loaner cars and I don’t feel it should be our responsibility!!!Our car is still in the shop and I hope when we get it back it’s dependable.Not happy

Went up to Ray Skillman Southside to check out some Tucsons and Santa Fes. We were greeted by Derek who spent the entire afternoon with us. He went above and beyond. He answered every question and worked to get us the best deal possible. We went up to drive a couple and ended up driving home in a brand new Santa Fe Limited. Our business manager, Mike, was exceptional as well making the paperwork as painless as possible. We could not have had a better experience. Thanks to Derek and Mike for taking care of us.

The dealer wasn't ready to serve us despite our car selection, we waited for 2 hours and had to leave because the finance guy couldn't get to us. The following visit, they asked for social security cards although they could verify the information. Despite my residency in this city for over 18 years, they still asked for a proof of residence for my college age son who lives with me at home. They treated us as though we are illegal or didn't have money although l am a physician. I think there was racial bias, they wanted to make it hard for us, a black father and his college age son to get a car. They had more than a week to take care of the recall service on the car, they didn't and want us to bring it back after we buy it to the service department, another unnecessary trip and waste of our time. Poor customerservice if you are a minority.
