We were interested in two dogs from this location. Their process is to fill out an application and pay a $10 fee. We submitted the application and paid the fee and they responded asking what is our availability to meet the dogs. I never heard back from them and we missed out on the dogs we were interested in. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to constantly contact them to follow up.

I adopted my Aussie in 2020. The staff was great! I actually felt bad for him that he was leaving his human and dog friends. He seemed to love it there and they seemed to love him. I was able to contact them afterwards with questions and they followed up with me later to check on him. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had an appointment with Beth today at 1 pm. Got there and door was locked. I called and they said Beth was on her way. I waited and waited nothing. This is only the second time i have been there. Will not go back and do not recommend this place at all. Bad business practice. No one even called to apologize or anything.

We rescued a 2 year old Staffordshire Terrier from Marion county. She had been in and out of the shelter many times and was with a foster family when we adopted her. When looking for a playmate, we could not seem to find a fit for her until we visited Tails and Trails. We had given up on our quest to find a suitable fit until they encouraged us to meet Sam. It was late in the evening and we reluctantly agreed to meet the Border Collie who had been rescued in KY 24 hrs before uthinization and brought to Tails and Trails. He was skinny, malnourished, had teeth removed and treated for his worms. Amazingly, it was love at first site for our Terrier and Sam. Two years later, we are all living happily ever after.
