since being bought out by old national the service has gone down 100%. I never had any problems with First Midwest. I will be switching banks immediately.

Old National recently merged with First Midwest Bank and it has been a terrible experience EVERY TIME I have to do anything with this bank. I expected customer service to be swamped for the first few weeks after the merger, but it has now been a few months and trying to get hold of someone is at least a hour long experience, no matter the time of day or the day of the week. While Google searching for my local branch, because it would be nice to talk to someone at my branch before I make the tough decision to go to the bank, I found that the local number now dumps me in to the national call center - fine. I will attempt to get my question answered through them. But alas, I cannot! No matter what prompt you choose from their automated system, the system hangs up on you. This is basic stuff, I would rather have Old National disconnect these numbers rather than dump me into a system that doesn't work. I dread having to interact with this bank every time. I will be moving banks - cause it can't be this bad everywhere. I am just happy that they haven't lost any of my money - or at least not yet. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere before choosing Old National - cause having a company looking after your money should not be a painful experience.

When this was First Midwest they were amazing. However, with the merger, it seems like there is different new, staff, stressed a bit because of the hiccups, a lot of mad customers, no printer paper at the atm, limited deposit slips etc to name a few. The ONB online portal seems to be nicer than FMB if you like online transactions. I just hope they can do something significant to regain the charm and community FMB had...like coffee in the lobby LOL
