This is a lovely shop. I went in for some stitch markers and they had several styles and sizes to choose from. Browsed the yarns and there were a lot of natural fiber yarns (my favorite).
The owner has it set up to list the brand and color name on your receipt so it is easy to find more of a yarn if you come up short in your project, which is amazing!
Will definitely shop here again.

The owner, Jamie, is a wealth of knowledge regarding weaving, spinning, and knitting/crochet. Also, this establishment has a decent selection of yarns and offers classes.

I love the selection at Spinnin' Yarns. There always seems to be something new when I stop in. The owner is always friendly and helpful. Welcoming for those who knit, crochet, spin, or weave! They offer classes and different times to drop in and craft as a group. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth the drive from Porter County!

My favorite place to shop for yarn! The selection is great & constantly updating. I always find what I need plus a lil extra ;) I’ve also had a ton of fun taking some of the natural dying classes offered at the shop! Very cool

The owner is who greets you and is very knowledgeable about all things yarn! The visit is wonderful and inspiring! She has many items made with the yarn available so you can see how it works up!

I’m so happy to have such a wonderful yarn shop that is so close to my home!! Before I really knew about animal fibers, cottons, linens and such, I used to think that Red heart and Michael’s yarns were great yarns! Little did I know..I was totally unknowledgeable about the fiber arts! I have learned so much about wools and many different fibers from the fantastic owner of this shop!! She not only prices her yarns appropriately, but carries so many yarns from all price ranges! Even puts some yarns on clearance as well. When patrons come into her shop with a project that they have fumbled, she drops everything to try and help correct the problem for that patron!!! I have never seen such patience and kindness from any seller before!! I recommend this shop to all knitters, crocheters, weavers and all crafters! It’s a wonderful place!!! Patty Labadie

Incredibly friendly and helpful! So fun to chat about each other's past, current, and future projects. More knowledge than I will ever be, which is so helpful when starting a new project or needing to know how much yarn I should expect to purchase.
