If you work in pharmacy you cannot make careless mistakes. Called to make sure they had a specific medication in stock the lady I spoke to said yes. I made sure to clarify that yes it was the exact medication needed. So I called the doctor let them know to send the prescription there. 2 hours later I get a voicemail saying that medication is out of stock. When working with medications and making such mistakes can really hurt someone’s health. Now have to wait a week for my son’s medication because the drs office is closed for the weekend. Highly irresponsible for the pharmacy to make such a mistake.

Horrible pharmacist and pharmacy techs. Very very lazy. Do not want to do their job, does not go above and beyond to help you being in the field that they are in and is very rude.

Atrocious. This place never fails to disappoint. I have been coming here to fill prescriptions since it opened. They have short filled, not filled, and today told me my medication that I rely on to keep my seizures in check won't be ready like I was told it would be. I'm currently standing in front of the counter being ignored by the tech and the pharmacist.

In this store they give very bad customer service especially with the MANAGER who is Hispanic and the cashier has a very bad rude attitude with customers, she is an elderly lady who works in the mornings, I hope they put a stop to this but talk to them so they know how to treat customers with respect and courtesy.

I have very bad experience most the time I go shop there, it’s one Hispanic Manager she was following me around the store last week when I was shopping there, one cashier works at the morning most of the time and she is very rude, I hope they hire people know how to give good customer service.

the first google review i’ve ever left because i usually just don’t care to but my experience this morning was awful. first of all, let me just say i work for an urgent care and we constantly have our patients complain about this pharmacy and i honestly haven’t been to this location in years even tho its closest to my house due to how horrible the service always is. i drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to the calumet location. so i have my NP send a med this morning (watched her do so) pull up to the pharmacy, they don’t have the script. no biggie, i understand electronic glitches happen. i have the NP send it again (once again, i work here so i know she’s sending it. i watched her do so the first time) i wait 20 minutes in the parking lot to give them time to receive/ fill it, pull back up. the tech still says they haven’t sent anything and the NP will have to call the script in. i tell her i work with the NP and i physically watched her send it and i knew she sent it again. okay, it’s fine. i feel like garbage i just want my meds and to go home. so i drive BACK to the urgent care to just get a paper script so its easier. i come back to walgreens and this time step inside where i am greeted by a girl named Sierra. right off the bat, she seems annoyed she has to type in a paper script (which i work in healthcare and understand it sucks doing the harder thing but i had already sent it twice electronically) after about five minutes she walks away and grabs someone else but doesn’t give me any further instruction so i just stand there and she goes “you can sit down it’ll be up shortly” like she doesn’t know why im still there. okay perfect, i really don’t feel good at this point, its been over an hour since my meds weren’t sent the first time, im a little frustrated but i figured maybe she’s new. About 25 minutes go by and i just stand up in line to see how much longer it will be (if i should just go back to my house) and she yells OVER the line of customers and the customer she’s with “your scripts aren’t ready” YEAH. clearly i know that. so i say “do you know how much longer” she goes “there’s only one person, she can only work so fast” i tell her i understand but i feel awful, the scripts have now been sent for two hours, and i just want to take my meds and to go home. if she would’ve told me it would’ve been 45 minutes instead of telling me to take a seat, i would’ve gone home and been fine! her response to me saying that was “I get that, but she can only work so fast.” once again, in front of a line of customers with an attitude. the girl next to her tells me it shouldn’t be too much longer, so i sit back down this time super frustrated. the lady next to me even apologized on her behalf. and then another 20 minutes went by before my script was done. Listen, i understand the world is short staffed right now, but this is the WORST customer service i’ve ever had especially coming from someone dealing with sick people. will never be back to this location again.

Disgusting excess for professional behavior at this pharmacy. 7 people in line, we have appoints for vaccines, we walk over to the dam window with a sign that says "vaccine check-in" Patricia pharmacy tech screams out in front of everyone "get in line there's only one" embarrassing, unprofessional, I said we are following the posted instructions she argued saying we don't do that, she then tells us it's going to be awhile I said it better not be we are scheduled, she said that's not how it works... none of this family will be back to this sht show pharmacy.

Watch the pharmacy people closely. I called in a one-month prescription, with one refill. Expecting to pay $24… I pull up to the window and the lady says that will be $69.89 because THEY decided to give me a three month supply. Nice of them to let me know or change it without asking. ?If you use a good RX and your doctor finds you the cheapest place to get it, and mine just happen to be Walgreens . For $10.50.When I got there they said it would be $28.00 . I called the manager when I got home. They said no one had ran it through my good RX prescription card. I just started using this Walgreens three months ago and they make way too many mistakes for my taste. The whole day wasted on three trips to Walgreens and one trip to the bank, because they did not put the money back on my card they gave me a cash refund. Although they did the right thing, I am very skeptical about what they’re giving me, the quantity they are giving me, they do not take the time to run it through any prescription card or find you a cheaper price. WALMART does a much better job on that aspect. But they don’t try to take your money or set you up with a refill that cost $80 that Walgreens themselves Created from a $24 prescription. Walgreens is not cheaper on three month supplies at all not buy a penny , Walmart on the other hand will save you money for three month supply, in case you’re wondering. My suggestion is call before you go to make sure they’re open, and make sure the price and quantity is CORRECT. also check the prescription number that you called in , to make sure it is the correct prescription as written by your doctor. Not the people that work in the pharmacy at Walgreens. Some of the employees in the pharmacy do their job. *There are some that do not care, some that do not know the rules that I have the right to refuse the prescription.Just because they filled it how they want it does not mean you have to accept it. Especially when they’re holding it in their hand on the other side of the glass telling you -you have to take it. NO YOU DONT.This is not true, they are not doing their job correctly. Call the pharmacy manager, Vanessa. Vanessa‘s great and fixed many problems. Thank you Vanessa. Some of the workers are nice but that does not excuse some of their actions or lack of.You must remind all of them to run it through your prescription card that is on file. Even though they’re supposed to do this anyway you will have to tell them! Some will argue that they won’t do it. ASK FOR THE MANAGERDon’t give up you will save money if they will run it through the good RX prescription card or whatever you have on file. So far I’m not that impressed. They would have to step it up quite a bit. I only get my prescriptions there. I did not want a job there-With no pay.! Even though they fixed the problem, it happened twice in two days. Those are not good odds.? I can say is step it up Walgreens stay on your toes and pay attention when somebody returns medicine, I want my money back like I was promised. But the girl that took it she just took both prescriptions and said thank you, bye-bye. HEY WHAT? NOPE Not so fast sweetie,DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING. That’s when the lady took the bag and my prescriptions and said thank you bye-bye SMH. YOU OWE ME A CHUNK OF MONEY. which was returned in the form of cash, not to the original form of payment. Very frustrating and inconvenient in the long run.Just because they are open later and have a drive-through does not make them the best choice to do business with.
