No one working here knows when the last room remodel was, last time mattresses were changed. When asked to see the room, I was told they don't show the rooms to anyone. When asked if they will refund me if the room is bad, I was told I would just be moved to a different room. They also require an extra $100 room hold/deposit, which tells me the kind of clients and most likely quality of the rooms they have. The business next door has one of those mobile security video cameras so not sure how safe it was. Could not stay here without having my basic questions answered.

The management will allow a service dog into the hotel claiming they will not charge, then they will charge your bank account for the dog pet fee after you check out of the hotel.

Was booked through Schneider fox travel all the carrier companies in the area use this location I the day off so I tried the breakfast not recommended simply grab and go cheap stuff. Same day I asked the cleaning lady to change my towels black lady was nasty in her response she did exchange my face and mat towels. I am going home and would rather commute. I can get my own clean towels at home. Hotel seems to be for trucking students like I noted earlier. I think they should train their housekeepers again.Rooms: Rooms where clean looked like the place had been remodeled.

For a cheaper option this is one of my favorite hotels in the area. Staff is always friendly and for being as busy as they are it’s a fairly quiet hotel. Stairwells and elevator are ice boxes in the winter, but the rooms have good heat.Walkability: My biggest complaint about this location is it is not really close to anything else, so if you don’t have a vehicle to drive, there’s nothing in the area to walk to and only a frontage road to walk in, if you do so choose to walk the couple miles to other restaurants and such.Food & drinks: They have a pretty decent breakfast bar. Waffle and pancake makers, yogurt bar, toast muffins, and breads, and then some kind of hot item on rotation each day.

I did my roehl training here, when I first got here my bathroom was dirty, had body hair in the tub everywhere! I called front desk to reclean and they said they would but didn’t (I couldn’t shower the first day) so since they didn’t the upgraded me thought I could shower finally and then I seen 3 roaches after the 2nd one I had to record to show front desk cause I felt like they didn’t believe me. It was horrible!Rooms: Dirty

Wonderful place to stay. Some good restaurants near the hotel make it easy to find a bit to eat. Close to Chicago so it’s a great spot to do day trips into the cityFood & drinks: The cost of snacks at the hotel was reasonable

There is a very tight turn-a-round for a truck and trailer at the end of the parking lot. Not much trouble for one truck but a second one might not be able to make it. Once turned around, two trucks can fit. They also accept pets. $75.00 deposit on a charge card (no cash) that is refunded after checkout + $25.00 non-refundable charge. My room was purposely located close to a door so I could take my dog outside. The stay was pleasant and breakfast was good.

Avoid this place at all cost! I have no clue what bridge the people climbed out of to say anything good about this place. It’s filthy, mold, plain disgusting! The sheets are dirty, the floor are filthy! Do not stay here it needs to be condemned!

The help hides behind a wall behind the front counter. They are rude and disgustin. Management must be terrible to have employees like this--never again will I stay here.

My clothes were stolen from the laundry room last night during their cycle, and when I went to the front desk for camera surveillance, the GM was very late in her response to the girl working the front desk. She stopped responding all together and told the employee that she’s “with her family” and didn’t care to review footage for me to retrieve my laundry. Some hospitality for guests who literally pay your bills. This hotel is also known for having unsavory characters roaming the halls at night. Not a safe space for your children. In response to the owner's response, you did not address my complaint at all. You were made aware last night that my clothes were swapped DURING their wash cycle, not sitting there once they were done. I literally came the moment my timer went off for my clothes and someone had already removed my clothes and put more in the washer. You didn't address the fact that you were taking too long to respond, and that you stopped responding altogether to then tell your employee that you were with your family. I understand I left my clothes unattended, but you hindered me figuring out who did it. It would've been a simple tracking of whoever took the clothes and what room they went to. I could've called the police and had them knock to retrieve my things. Luckily, whoever swapped them brought them back. But what if they didn't? Yes, I left them. But if you're gonna help, don't stop responding halfway through the process. The whole comment about the towels and the service was irrelevant and the issue I have isn't with the hotel staff, it's with you, the owner.
