Would not recommend! I was moving to California and they gave us a bad truck where the brakes started going out on us. I also had a tow for my car but due to the truck messing up I had to take my car off and drive it for the rest of the trip which was about 14 hrs. The whole time I kept calling to try to get through to a service rep and could not get a answer. When I finally made it to California, I told them I wanted a partial refund for the tow since I couldn’t even use it for the whole trip. After so much run around, I was given a number to call to try to get issued a refund and no one picks up the phone after many calls.

My move date is 6/29/20. I received a call from Budget in Hammond IN this morning saying there are no trucks available on my move date as they have all been assigned to Amazon, UPS, etc. I am directed to read the small print that says Budget can do this. However, this is very deceptive. FYI: based on our conversation, Budget knows that all their trucks are taken when you are reserving your truck. However, they graciously allow you to go through the process in the event that one may perhaps become available which is a slight possibility because there is no availability past August 2020. In October 2020, Budget did the same thing to my nephew on his move “day.” Budget was able to right this wrong, therefore, we were not left with a bad taste in our mouth. Evidence of this was my willingness to contract with Budget again. The manner in which Budget is conducting business is a disservice to the average consumer.

If i could give them zero stars I would. We reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance for moving into our new house. We got a call THREE days before moving day that they don't have ANY trucks available. The woman who called was so incredible rude and unsympathetic. She didn't offer us any kind of help. This has been a huge inconvenience and stress for us that was completely avoidable. How do you not have a truck that is reserved three weeks in advance, and then call days before a big move.

Reserved a truck and got confirmation that everything was good and clear. Received a call only two days before the move stating there would be no truck available. Same exact thing happened to a friend moving the same week. I don't normally write reviews, but this really put me in a bind and set me back.

Went in to rent a truck, no big deal. Overheard an associate complaining how the website offers trucks they don't have. That would suck if you were to show up expecting your much needed truck. I guess it's best to call and confirm.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Horrible customer service. I rented a truck almost 2 weeks before i needed it to be told that renting was a certain price and i was GUARANTEED a truck, the lady told me it was one price and then i get my confirmation with double the amount and i called them they told me there was a deposit, never did they tell me anything about a deposit, I'm moving on Saturday and they called me on Wednesday and told me there was no trucks so i called corporate was on the phone for 45 minutes hung up called back was on hold again waiting to speak to a supervisor for 30 minutes i called again spoke to a CSR she told me they would find a bigger truck for the same rate and that it would be about 15 minutes to 2 hours before i got a call back never got a call called in the morning to be told the same exact thing and get a call back an hour later telling me they're just going to cancel my reservation because there isn't a truck. Horrible customer service, nobody knows what they're doing because i was told 4 different things don't recommend to anyone! Supervisor also laughed on the phone when i told her it was embarrassing how her place is being ran. So unprofessional you definitely won't ever get my business.

Rude, gave away one of the days I reserved the truck for because I was two hours late picking it up, still charged me for two days. Truck had flat spots on front tires and shook so bad half of my things were rubbing together. I stopped at the Speedway and filled the tank up until the pump stopped on it's own, checked the gauge and it shows full (as it did when she told me to check it when i first got the truck on inspection), and dropped the truck off. I then get a call that I didn't fill the truck up all the way and it could still take two or three gallons so they charged me the 30 dollars plus gas to take it next door and supposedly fill it up all the way to the top of the filler neck. I tried to explain that the Gauge shows full and every pump in america tells you not to top off and she never told me that I needed to physically inspect the gas tank before taking it. She refused to listen to reason and still charged me.

Cheryl is a nicest and sweetest person I've ever met at a any moving truck company, she doesn't play about her trucks but she is wonderful. We literally talked almost two hours that's how down to earth she was. Thanks so much and all you renters be sure to fill the truck up all the way until it stops and put the dolly to the end by the door.

1) I ordered furniture pads and the location didn't have them 2) I paid an additional $63 for insurance that included roadside assistance. I locked the keys in the truck and when I contacted Budget for assistance I was told that the vender didn't put roadside on the contract. I have the paperwork that states I bought roadside and Budget still refused to send anyone to assist me.
