The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana is devoted to carrying out the educational mission of the First Teacher In Space, Christa McAuliffe and serving as a living memorial for the Challenger 51L Crew that was lost in 1986. Our Center was created to address the expanding STEM field in the Northwest Indiana Region and the need for experienced and educated STEM professionals. We exist to give all children the chance to feel like a scientist and the opportunity to know that they can follow their dreams.
