Mary the manager is clueless. I’ve been coming to this location for years multiple times since it’s just down the street. She immediately got offended when I was upset that I was in line for 10 min while she chatted away with a customer/friend instead of apologizing. I work for HR myself and I wouldn’t tolerate this, Dollar General shouldn’t either. But I did take the time to coach her, that a simple Apology would’ve done it.

They don’t even deserve one star. The floor associate acted clueless throughout the entire conversation. Had to call store manager to make decision on balloons. The cashier was helpless. Both too lazy to blow up 6 balloons. Store manager mad they called her. Terrible service. There’s one east of that store not even 5 minutes away. GO THERE so you won’t waste time with people who don’t feel like doing their job. They have their phone turned off. I called while I was in front of them and they said they didn’t hear ringing. Of course not, when the ringer is off! Thankful for the store up the street!! Much better!

The cashier was so incredibly rude. There was a line of customers waiting for a long time and she slowly walks up purposely taking her time. Then when I asked her if I could use credit instead of debit she looks at me dumbfounded and shrugs and says “I dunno” with the nastiest attitude. She then proceeds to tell her co worker that I have an attitude right in front of me. A clearly lazy person who probably wants to get fired so she can get unemployment. Not going back here again if that’s the kind of people you hire and they aren’t held accountable

When I walked in the Dollar General, I was greeted with a sincere hello, and welome to Dollar General, not the robotic hello. I had to come on here to do a review. I overheard the phone ring, and a customer was asking if they had an item. She HAPPILY placed the customer on hold, and went to check to see if they had the item. Came back and informed the customer. I was looking for a particular item. She showed me where it should have been, but they were all out of stock. She was genuine and sincere while I was checking out. This is definitely rare these days. I told her to stay the way she is, and that it was appreciated.

Mary is such a wonderful Manager. She does so much in the store to keep it together while always maintaining a positive attitude.
