About Hammond Marina
Hammond Port Authority is an older marina with adequate, though not new, facilities. The docks could use renovation but offer good value with free dock boxes, water, electric, and wifi. The staff is lovely, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Access to Chicago via train is a feature, though the on-site casino is smoky and there are no nearby restaurants or groceries. The facilities were found to be quite disgusting by one long-time visitor, while another calls it a great clean marina. Fellow boaters are also friendly.

Been coming since I was a child, and continue to bring my family, however today, the facilities on site were quite disgusting.
