I like the atmosphere somewhat at this gym but the cancellation process has been the most difficult and disturbing process I’ve ever had and I probably won’t ever get another planet fitness membership at the Hammond Indiana location again after this they wasted so much of my time thru this and told me I can only send a letter even though I was already moved out of state and it’s an online option for there club never again

Today was my first time at this gym. And for the most part I liked it, the machines the atmosphere but it was very hot in the gym. Apparently they don’t have ac and ceiling fan was barely moving (basically not at all). It was uncomfortably hot in this gym.

Last year, I came in to cancel my planet fitness account and told the woman, cancel my account, I will be going overseas for a year. She said this might charge me this month because of the day of month, but after that no more. I went overseas, getting charged every month. I called 25cents a minute to be told I have to come in for cancellation. Told the story, nothing. Messaged PF main FB page but told me they can’t help. I go back to PF today, treated like I’m the bad guy? I wanted proof you canceled this time around. PF has show itself to not be a company of its word. I’m the bad guy? No “dang sorry to hear that?”, no “dang man, let’s fix this”. Just employed looking at each other trying to let the Manager hide. Where is the manager? That is serious amount of money and I am not even bringing that up. I want them to no there is a problem. * Please note I did not ask for money or anything but cancelation. This is newsworthy content for the community to know. I want to share my review and my situation. I just wanted cancelation. Also, teach employees how to respond, especially when the person has had a corporate entity come in his pocket every month and take his HARD EARNED MONEY

Having 24hr member access is convenient for schedule. The staff is courteous & the facility is always clean. The environment is safe & positive, I complete my workouts as planned without any hindrances. #happymember
