The store I love the different variety of clothing sections they have from plus size to regular size people even to children. It was very colorful and they had the store very needy and clean. The only thing that I really didn’t care for it was a cashiers they were very slow talking to each other and not paying attention to the customers need yelling at people over with cashier cash register And it was just kind of frustrating the way they were treating people all they need to do is just make sure they keep their eyes focused on the person in front of them now if something is going on then they need to shut down and go out into the area where the clothing is Anyway I did find me an outfit and I was able to get out of there very quickly, but they just need to remember Customer Service goes a long way and to focus on the people in front of them instead of their friends and other people on the outside

Customer service was horrible! Took my daughter in to get her birthday outfit, asked the cashier can she get the skirt out the window? She ignored me for 2 minutes or so, then I said is anybody going to help me? They lost a customer that day!

Why isn't there any mirrors this is a clothing store right? And also no fitting rooms! But you want people to shop!!! how? because once I purchase and get it home to actually see if it fits or not I have a time limit to bring it back! to get a refund or probably a store credit. SMH!

I had the worst experience I have ever had shopping at Rainbow on 26100 Greenfield Rd Oak Park Mi 48237.On 5/15 I brought a tshirt. First of all they don't have any dressing rooms or mirrors in the store and when I tried on the Tshirt at home it didn't fit correctly. I brought the tshirt back on 5/24 around 11am and the manager whose badge read miss b dumped the bag on the counter a tag to a different tshirt fell out and she instantly told me oh you can't return this because the tag is not on the tshirt but she didn't look at the tshirt to see if there was a tag. She had a really nasty attitude. When I got home I pulled the tshirt out of the bag and I saw the tag on the tshirt and I discovered a loose tag in the bag. So on 5/25 I took the bag back to the store and I also wanted to purchase other items. When I Was ready to check out I gave her the bag and told her of the mistake that was made. She instantly started yelling at me and accusing me of bringing in a different tshirt that did not match the receipt. I was trying to explain to her what happened and she started yelling and over talking me. So I asked her to just ring up my other items and she said I don't have to ring up anything for you and you can get out of my store I don't have to do anything for you. I asked her why and I said I'm a customer and you're refusing to ring up my items she said yes but gave me no explanation of why. I asked the young lady next to her could she do it and the manager told her not to and she agreed. I then asked for the corpora number and she said you can google it so I did. I explained to them what happened and they said they would call the store. After the corporate lady called the store and talked to the manager she let the other cashier ring up my items, but now there is an investigation for me returning my shirt. The shirt does not fit and I don't want it. I'm not trying to be difficult but my receipt and tag matches so I am entitled to a refund. This took 30 minutes for me to resolve and it was completely ridiculous for someone who works in the store to refuse to let me purchase things from the store. She is not the owner what right does she have to do that. She was very rude with a horrible nasty attitude she has no business being a manager and she needs customer service training. I still want the refund corporate is supposed to be following up with me I am expecting a phone call but I would no longer shop at rainbow and I will make sure I let others know about my experience.

3 staff were at the registers.. 1 customer ahead of me. I had 4 items. The customer in front being served might I add, had armfuls.I waited 15 minutes while all three ladies attended to the customer ahead. 1 took the clothes off the hangers. The next rang the items up and the third placed the items into bags. When I had finalized my purchases, i ran into the customer ahead at the door, with one of the 3 staff searching her bags trying to find the item setting off the security alarm.I politely walk past and the alarm goes off again, I'm waved on. I get home and low and behold the security tag is still attached to my item. Oh and for added uncomfortability, the staff member who served me expressed her distaste for the previous customer's attitudes on parenting. And after a few interactions deduced I had been divorced, reverted to a different language and spoke to the other staff member until my final thank you have a nice day standard statement. Altogether I'm having my husband return my item and not shopping there again.

If I could give a 0 I would. Bought new pants for work, two hours in the pants ripped and I had to rush out of the office in between meetings to change my pants. I emailed the company and they said I will get not refund because they were worn for two hours. Never again. buyer beware.

Tried to go in and shop but these lazy asses wanted to close before their business hours said, they had another hour left open. They just shoed us away rudely. Definitely don't go to the 5th Ave location.

Take your money elsewhere, anywhere but this store. This store has a problem with their employees being racist. Today, I went to return clothes. Female in head covering (workers don't have a name tag) was extremely rude to me. I went to return clothes, she gave me fill out a little slip BUT she shooed me over to the side so she prioritized other customers, over me. That slip took 5 seconds to fill out and the customer she prioritized over me and rang up was checking out MANY clothes. On top of that, she doesn't even respond when I ask what's the total amount of $$ she's going to give me in cash. She completely ignores me when I try to speak to her, and doesn't even make eye contact. What's the point of her working as a cashier if she refuses to talk to customers? She isn't doing her job. Also, she seems to have prejudice against Asians. She served other customers and was friendly to them and said thank you, but for me and other Asians, she's completely silent and ignores eye contact. This didn't just happen to me, in other reviews, there's other instances where Asians are treated like second class citizens in this store. Fix this racism, Rainbow.

TLDR: skip this location, especially for returns. Go to 125th instead. I went to this 5th Ave location to return a couple things from my online order. The sales reps refused a return on three of the four items, telling me they would 'do me a favor' and exchange them since they were 'on sale and couldn't be returned'. That's straight up BS -- only two of my items were on sale, meaning they refused a return on a full priced item -- and none of the four items were final sale, intimates, swimwear, accessories, etc. I told her I didn't see anything about that in the return policy but she was adamant. I declined her 'favor' and went to the 125th street Harlem location. They returned my items without issue. I don't know if Rainbow allows different return policies based on location, but if so that needs to be stated online. For the record, this was 17 days after ordering (the return window is 30 days from ship date). I had the invoice and everything was unworn, unwashed, in original bags, and none of them were final sale, intimates or swimwear. A more minor complaint -- I came in more than an hour before closing and the sales reps acted like they didn't want to give me the time of day. When I put my return items on the counter in their plastic bags, I was sneered at and told to remove the bags. After I did, I was snapped at: "No, actually we need them in the bags." Yeah... I know....
