They rarely answer their phone, and they continuously send packages to other facilities and on line all it says is your package is delayed. I did finally take to someone and that's the story I got. Also, this past Christmas I brought in my hand made cards (which are very fine consuming and expensive to make) and they were bulky, but still weighed under an ounce but the lady said to pay double for each card because not all they post offices machines weigh things at the same weight (pretty sure that's illegal) and since they were bulky they won't be able to put them through the machines. Well, apparently they still put them through the machines because about half the cards were damaged upon receipt and several people never even got their cards nor were they returned to me. I make cards every year and people expect them with updated pics of my kids, so obviously very disappointing and a waste of my time and money!

Terrible staff. I can't even say "terrible service" because I did not get the service that I walked in there for. I set up a passport appointment and whoever the lady was didn't want to help me, was yelling, being loud, ghetto and unprofessional. She was loud, belligerent, cut me off after asking me questions and when I was 2 words into answering would cut me off and yell. She was ghetto and had a foul attitude. Very unprofessional. And I came to my appointment prepared with all necessary legal documentation. I told her what each document was and she was asking "where the father is" "what is this?" to an obvious copy of the father's passport, and saying stuff like "well, I don't know if they're going to take this" to my legitimate legal documentation. She was unprofessional and just didn't want to help me. And I told her, you know what, no thanks and walked out.

Let me start out by saying, the first 3 reviews I read about this place, were all negative. I can see why. The lady refused to take my mail. She suggested I go to the post office where the zip code matched the zip code on the envelope. She asked where I lived & why I was there. That lady is crazy. That's none of her business. She needs to stick to USPS business & not mine. I told her I already had to call the police on Morgan Park Post Office because they would not release my mail, now she was not accepting mail to cancel a subscription. These people need to be trained right. Thank you!

The post office boxes are filled to the capacity outside, and all they have to say is that they know. It’s no one to pull it ???

They only have one person who works the window. It is not their fault. it is the government's fault. More hireing is needed. Highland has one extra if she calls for it during holiday seasons. Also have a better variety of boxes and envelopes. Yes Also the mail separation at the post office needs to do a better job. I get other people's mail because of exact looking envelopes and samenumbers of address but different streets but a mile away. The new csrrier don't blab loudly on the phone like the other woman did! That woman woke us up many times!!

This post office is the worst. If UPS hands your package over to these guys you can be sure you're going to have to go in and get it. Third time... Makes me wonder what mail I haven't received.

They delivered my mail to another address, it had a tracking number.I was waiting outside and never received it. It was important because it was a customer's replacement part for a cell phone. Also this is not the first time it has happened, I've hunted down packages knocking on my neighbors doors, and sometimes would turn up. GET OFF THE PHONE and deliver the mail appropriately.

There’s an older lady there, that is very rude an unprofessional. She doesn’t know how to talk to anyone. She’s loud with an attitude. Every time I go there I pray she’s not the one that’ll be servicing me but I always get her. Someone need to train her on customer service skills. I’m not the one that post reviews often but this lady is so unprofessional I had to. She rushes you and her tone in her voice says a lot. How could someone like her work in such a place?

My son passed away and a card sent to me with money in it. It was delivered open. I'm already grieving and when I spoke to someone in the office she was very nonchalant and didn't seem to really be concerned. She stated they would open an investigation but 2 days later I was notified that there is nothing they could do and that they have no way of knowing which carrier had opened my mail. Truly Dissatisfied!!!

I had the worst experience with this post office and will not be using USPS' service ever again. On October 27th, I ordered an iPhone 11 Pro Max from Mercari. I have always ordered from here and NEVER had an issue!!! The phone was supposed to be delivered on the 31st along with another item that I bought separately on Mercari. That night I came to pick it up from my dorm's front desk and I only received the one item which was my wall plug-in. The tracking number stated that the item was delivered to an individual at 1:48 p.m. The item that actually did make it to my dorm stated that it was delivered at 11:53 a.m. I first contacted my dorm and had them check the cameras to see if the mailman ever came back around 1:48. There was no mailman on the footage at that time, they were only here once that day around 11:55 a.m. based on the footage. That Monday, I contacted the post office to notify them that my package must have been misdelivered because it stated that it was delivered at a time where the mailman was not at the address on the postage. I called three times and the man in charge would never get in touch with me. All I would get is another individual telling me Matias is on lunch or they would speak with him and relay the information to me. After about a week, I submitted a claim online. A few days later I received an email stating that based on the geo-location, my package was misdelivered. I contacted the post office and finally Matias was put on the phone and he acted as if he had no idea what I was talking about regarding the email. The email was signed by HIM! He said he would check into it and reach back out. Another 2 weeks pass and nothing! I go up there and I finally got to speak to Matias in-person after all the back and forth. He tells me that sometimes the system says something different than the postage and that they do not have the technology to see that it was misdelivered even though it was saying on their side that my package was delivered to a Kennedy address and my postage which I have with me was supposed to be delivered to 173rd. When I was there, I overheard them talking about a carrier who moves too fast and does not pay attention to what she is doing and she was the carrier on the day of my delivery. They are trying to change their story when they know dang well my package was misdelivered because of the irresponsible and incompetent people working there. When he told me that there was no way to prove it because of the lack of technology at that place, he might as well of just laughed in my face! I am now out of $740 because of them and I was not compensated at all and they did not even seem to care!

Just moved into the neighborhood and the mail carrier has the audacity to return my package because she thought my current house was still vacant. Like really? Who does that? Your one and only job is to deliver packages and mail. No one told you to investigate. Will be filing a complaint
