This store is rude in Racist this store owners in it's a lady that work there her name is Michelle she is Racist to her workers in her customer's then when I went in there she was talking down on people kids they are only kids that's not right she need to be fired.

This is exactly the worst Strack and van til there is ..I live right by this one and all the cashiers are rude,produce is the worst,I can never find a good tomato ,there meat always has a hole in it and they look at you like they doing you a favor..not to mention this exact location sales nothing that's in the ad paper

Step away from those chicken chains. If you want the taste of home fried chicken stop by Strack's hot food deli section. Not only is it delicious it's cheap too. You can purchase an 8pc mix for only$5.99. They have a variety of hot and cold sides to complete a meal. Fridays are great if you prefer seafood.

There's a joker faced employee who has cold sores all over her mouth,she is highly rude towards all customers and gives false information when asking general questions. I recommend not going to this particular store on Sibley on account of her demeanor and mannerisms.

Well stocked grocery store with the best supermarket fried chicken ever! Whenever, I am near a Strack and Van Til, I buy fried chicken to go. The woman in the deli not sure if her name is Jeanette or Jane is extremely helpful. If you ever have a party, order the chicken from Strack & Van Til. You will be delighted!

Since I moved to Calumet City 2 years ago this has been my go-to grocery store.The prices are reasonable and I normally am able to get everything that I need. The store's not super slick looking but it has that local feel that I appreciate. I purchased my normal items but I also purchase some pizza because I normally don't but for the size it is the 2 for $11 is a bargain. there are items that I'll have to pick up at Sam's Club or at all these but I got all of my basic stuff.
