Ridiculous. Not unlike most other big chain pharmacies, make it extremely difficult to get controlled substances filled. Yeah yeah, I get it it's a controlled substance. But in my case, the prescription is legit. Check out the big lawsuit against CVS right now for filling phony opiate prescriptions or just handing them out willy-nilly. Yet, from what I understand controlled substances can be refilled every 28 days.. BUT not on 31-day months according to whoever I spoke with at this location yesterday. Explain that to me? It's ridiculous as I said to begin with. The entire healthcare system as a whole is a joke, you would think that CVS and related companies would start to realize that the public is fed up with this. But no, as long as they keep raking in their profits hand over fist. I don't want to hear about underpaid and overworked. Pharmacists have no idea, last I checked they get paid way better and have far better benefits than I do. And a much safer job to boot. Cry me a River! You could avoid these types of reviews, if you would just fill the prescription on time. Thanks 🙂

One of the worst pharmacy experiences I’ve ever had. One of my meds were out of stock at the Madison CVS so it got transferred to Hanover to be filled when I go to check to see if it’s ready, there’s no order in the system at all and some how it was deleted out of my profile, after not being able to resolve anything I’m told to have my Dr re submit the prescription directly to Hanover CVS and they had 2 boxes of my meds in stock and it would get filled. I go back this evening to check the status again after having my Dr resubmit it like I was told to do and magically they’re out of stock when I was told the night before they had plenty, now I have to try yet again tomorrow to even see if it will be filled. 3 Days I’ve battled with this prescription. CVS extra care? More like CVS extra useless!

Specifically for the pharmacy - I called to ask a simple question about my medication this morning and the pharmacist was the most rude and condescending man I have interacted with in a long time. I was being kinda and patient the entire interaction. I just wanted to make sure that the medication I was given the day prior was the same as the one I usually get as the name had changed. He proceeded to lecture and sass me for not knowing that these medications were the same. Of course, how dare I ask someone who’s job it is to know this stuff a quick question to insure the medication hadn’t changed as I have had issues with getting the wrong prescription in the past. Not how I needed or wanted to start my morning.

The gentleman working the pharmacy has always been great through the years. ( I think his name is Chris). I just recently transferred my prescription though due to the store manager. She may have CVS fooled but someone from corporate should walk in there and have to deal with her as a customer. Rudest person I’ve had to deal with in a while. Won’t be going back for more either. So thank you pharmacist for the many years of service but as far as this manager goes….I’m glad I won’t have to deal with YOU again.

Told me to come back in 30 mins they hadn't recieved the prescription yet. Came back told me it hadn't been filled give them 15 mins. Come back AGAIN and just as it happens they timed it just right.. they are at lunch for the next 30 mins! Unprofessional and lazy.

Had to get medicine from out of state, the workers at the pharmacy were incredible with their service and they deserve a pat on the back for all they do!

Most of the crews at Hanover & Madison, Indiana are really sweet, kind and friendly. They do have many days things aren't easy, as a whole we should all try and understand and work with the entire crew. They deal with a lot.

I've been using this particular pharmacy for approximately 28 yrs plus and they have been nothing less than great professional folks who do show their wonderful personalities of caring, kind and once again most professional personable pharmacist, techs, cashier's. They have had a great team there and I cannot say enough GREAT thing's about them.
