Brought my crew in for breakfast before work and the food was fantastic. Great friendly service and the food came out quickly. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would make this place a regular if I didn’t live halfway across the country. Thank you!

Simple country diner. Building has a quaint country diner feel and look. Menu has enough choices. Food was good. Jumbo tenderloin is just that! JUMBO. Sweet tea needs to be stronger and sweeter...make it SWEET TEA. Canned sodas available. Service was quick even when busy. Waitress was super. She was taking care of the whole place and doing great at it. Yes I'll be back.Parking: Gravel parking lot. Please type of spots but when busy, could be a bit tough to find a spot

Its is hard for me to catch a good fish fry, let alone all you can eat, and rooster hen house doesn't let you down, it was better than I expected it to be, the restaurant is off the beaten path but I think that's what gives its charm. My girlfriend and I was greeted outside on the walkway by a fuzzy black and white cat that was very welcoming (animal lover btw). The staff was super friendly, the food portions was more than I expected, look forward to my next trip.Parking: Large gravel parking lot plenty of room to park.

Great fish and BLT cooked by Jess, delivered by Tina. Kim wrapped up the meal with a great smile. Wish we could eat at Roosters every day.

The Seafood Platter at Rooster's Hen House in Hardinsburg IN is DEFINITELY worth the drive! My fiance and I decided to check it out this past Saturday night. (The Seafood Platter is the special every third Saturday night.)The clams were NOT like rubber, as they are many other places! The clam chowder was thick and creamy, with plenty of clams and not so many potatoes. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp had a great horseradish bite, rather than being catsup that only hints at horseradish. The fish filet was large, with a little salt in the crispy cornmeal and cracker meal coating. The three butterfly shrimp were crispy, while the three shrimp in the cocktail were perfectly chilled. The baked potato was the only thing "average" about the meal. I was a bit disappointed that they served tartar sauce in food service packets, but the fish really didn't need tartar sauce anyway. And the crab salad was imitation crab, but it was still tasty. For $21.99 a person (plus drinks, tax, and tip), the price was reasonable. I say that because I ate my fill and still had what seems like half my meal to take home with me. Good food, good value for the money...I was completely satisfied!

We stopped and ate lunch here as we passed through Indiana. The food was well priced, delicious and it was the perfect lunch stop. The kids ate all their food from the kids meals. I enjoyed the tenderloin sandwich and my girlfriend enjoyed her burger.

The food is great, prices are very competitive. Nice country atmosphere and friendly. Service is spot on. You can dine in, take out. Wheelchair accessible, bath rooms for men and women are clean.
