I want to start by saying that the lady at the front desk has been very helpful throughout this entire process.
My truck was towed to this shop on April 9th after a car accident. Towards the end of April, I was told that the part needed to fix my truck was on back order, and would not be in for another month. I understood that this was not their fault, so I was sure to have patience during this month. At the end of June, I was told that that part was in, and that my truck would be ready soon. On July 8th, my truck was returned to me, and immediately noticed that my truck wasn't driving as normal. I spoke with Johnny, and he told me to bring my truck back to get looked at. My dad and grandfather has been certified mechanics for over 25 years, and they made johnny aware (IN PERSON) that the new part was assembled backwards and there was a few other things wrong. My dad made johnny aware of the changes that needed to be made. Johnny ensured me that his mechanics will look at the truck again, but no one did. My truck was parked in the same exact spot for 24 hours, which means that no one even attempted to fix the problem ( I paid money for a rental, just for my truck to sit in the same spot and not even be looked at). When i returned to pick up my truck, Johnny again informed me that nothing was wrong with my truck, and that the new part was NOT put on backwards. I took my truck home this day, and was still not satisfied. My dad and grandad INSISTED that the part was put on backwards and that was causing the problem. After bringing my truck to the shop for the third time, I spoke with johnny again. Johnny again INSISTED that the park was not on backwards, but they would take it to get aligned, which was not the problem. A few hours after dropping my truck off for the third time, I called the shop and spoke with Chuck. During this time, Chuck stated that the part was IN FACT put on backwards, and his mechanics were currently fixing the problem. I never received an apology from anyone, although I was extremely inconvenienced (with having to bring my truck back two more times, after it had already been in the shop for 3 MONTHS). My truck was in this shop from April 9th- July 8th, and I still had to bring it back TWO MORE TIMES, before they actually fixed the problem. I truly believe that I was not taken serious due to me being a female. Johnny was very dismissive of my concerns and acted as if he was irritated with me, but in the end I was actually right about the part being assembled backwards. Overall, my truck was fixed, but I was not happy with the customer service!

Tried to call and schedule an appointment. Whoever answered the phone was very rude. I’ve brought cars here for repair on multiple occasions in the past. No more. Anywhere but here. Don’t waste your time. Take it to Govert!!

Took my car for repairs after a minor accident they took good care of me everything came out good had a small complaint about something and the manager immediately took care of it the lady at the desk is nice and they kept in touch with me the whole time repairs were being made

my car was vandalized and i took my car to gerber collision and glass located in highland, indiana on indianapolis blvd and they were the best, and the work they did was awesome and not only was it done in a timely manner but they kept me informed throughout the process and johnny was just the best keeping me posted on the repairs, cost and timeframe, the workers there are friendly and treat you respectfully and treat you like family

Some guy hit my wife's car. Gerber was a option. We took in . They called us to pick up vehicle. We called on the way. They said bumper was on right. Sensor weren't working. We picked up next day. Car is newer . Never had a leak. Btw, it was an antifreeze leak. I called immediately. Spoke to some woman. Said manager will call me . Called twice, and still nothing. Ended up costing me another 700. to fix. It was the auxiliary radiator that they probably hit when taking off or putting back on. Worthless people. Still waiting for phone call . I don't recommend this place at all.

The ladies in the front are AWESOME! I was in an accident & the other party’s insurance was taking care of the repairs. Their insurance sent us over a check, but somehow my wife & I misplaced it (probably me lol) and when we went to pick up the car, we could not find the check anywhere…This is where the front office ladies come in. I went in for the 2nd time today & let her know we had lost the check & didn’t know what we were going to do. She got on the phone with Progressive & figured out how to receive payment from them, and I was able to take my car home & leave my rental with them. They turned a potentially bad situation into an AMAZING customer service opportunity. So thankful for the Gerber team but also the front of house ladies!

The staff is awesome! Kacey, Melissa, Joe and Jimmy are on top of things! They are friendly and communicate through the whole process! The techs do quality work!

The people there are great ,I especially love the office ladies they are funny and sweet. They treat you like a human being ,not a number. The manager gal in the office is wonderful, she loves my dogs I wish I could take them out to lunch because of their kindness. The guys are great ,if a repair has a problem, they're very kind to fix the problem .go here ,the service is excellent.
