Went today to setup automatic payment on principle. Do yourself a favor call another beach that’s trained and can actually set it up for you via email instead of telling you the service isn’t available “use the drop box” this isn’t 1950. The staff is lazy and will not go the extra mile to get done what you need. I called another branch and I had the paperwork via email in 15 minutes. Avoid this specific branch at all costs

Used to love this bank. After recent years lost some money here and there from unexpected fees to errors in deposits. Doesn't seem like they have any care for their customers anymore. It just doesn't feel like the same bank as before.

Rude experience with Jessica was told to close my account just was trying to figure out why I had a fee, was hung up on by her and told my wife was rude. Neither of us were rude to Jessica and I've never had to call back any type of buisness for hanging up on me. Happily the manager waived the whole fee.

I've had nothing but positive interactions with the staff at the Highland branch. My most recent interaction was to wire money for the purchase of a new house. The transaction was completed smoothly and professionally.

The Midlothian branch looks worn and unkept.. System issues- no access to my account using debit card. Online says 0 balance. Getting the feeling they only care about Indiana customers.

They don't take care of the easement behind their fence like the homeowners and Fannie Mae does. When McDonald's was there they did their part. Trees growing on the fence. Not a good neighbor.

The customer service can use some improvements. I walked out to do business with another bank that would treat people better. If you can't be comfortable with the people who are controlling your life savings then there is a huge problem with the establishment.

Extremely unprofessional here. Teller at the ridge road branch needs to be retrained in what customer service is. Taking my business elsewhere do you my interaction with her. Centier had been much more friendly.

I needed to open a savings account during covid and their friendly staff made it super easy. I also had a small issue with the account at first because of the way it was opened and they fixed the problem no questions. Every time I bank the staff is very friendly. The hours are convenient too.

Do not use this bank if possible. The loan officer out of the Valparaiso lacks communication skills and takes forever to respond to messages and when she makes a mistake does not take the urgency to fix the mistake. The corporate office out of Munster is not much better either. Mike does not know the full store and takes not take responsibility of his loan officers mistakes and pushes the blame on the buyer. So the bottom line is, do not use Peoples Bank for your mortgage needs as they are slow as honey and take forever to get a closing done on a house. Hope you take my advice and stay far far away from this bank. I might just have saved you hundreds of dollars and time Ps. When I told Mike that I would be leaving bad reviews, he said go right ahead. So that just shows you what kind of attitude People's Bank had, they do no care about standards and just sitting there at there desk collecting there paychecks and not concern at how there bank reviews are.

DO NOT BANK This bank is absolutely horrible, they took over AJ Smith (which was a horrible bank as well) so I thought this was a positive change. 1st they didn't send a new debit card to me and canceled my old AJ Smith one without notice. Once I called they had to expedite me a new one. After I got the new one I sat in the Orland location for over an hour while they figured out how to fix my pin that wouldn't work - then have me go OUTSIDE BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE AN ATM INSIDE 5 times to the ATM to see if my card would work. Now the icing on the cake. My VISA won't work with my Apple account. After I called my midlothian location they told me this just happened and they would look into it. After two days of no Apple wallet (which I use frequently) I called corporate. THEY TOLD ME THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A MONTH and they still haven't figured out what is wrong. When I called back the midlothian location they told me they had no idea. So now after a week of no Apple Pay and me calling and complaining THE ONLY THING THEY OFFER TO DO IS TAKE CARE OF ONE $3 ATM FEE. I immediately called chase and will be changing banks.
