Wicker Memorial Park is a popular family-friendly destination with plenty of activities and natural beauty. The park features well-maintained, clean grounds, including a splash park for kids, a playground for small children, and an outdoor gym for teens. There are numerous picnic areas and tables, many shaded for comfort, making it ideal for gatherings after Sunday mass or other outings. Visitors enjoy walking and cycling on the scenic trail that goes around the park, with shaded paths providing a refreshing experience on hot days. The park is also suitable for dogs, allowing pets to accompany visitors. Although restrooms are clean and handicapped accessible, some users find the facilities limited and at times a bit distant, especially depending on the pavilion rented. Despite occasional weather disruptions, such as rain during outdoor performances, Wicker Memorial Park offers a beautiful backdrop for music and outdoor activities, making it a versatile spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
The only issue I saw was the water park was flooded but that isn't surprising since we have had so many storms. The playground is awesome and the trail is beautiful!
