Dollar General Hobart is a neighborhood general store offering hassle-free and affordable shopping. It provides everyday low prices on food, snacks, health and beauty aids, cleaning supplies, family apparel, housewares, seasonal items, and paper products from trusted brands and its own private brands. This location also sells tobacco. Recent reviews note the store has drastically changed under a new manager, leading to a great, clean store with stocked shelves and cleaned floors for an overall better experience. It is a "go-to" place for many, open until 10 pm with plenty of parking and a convenient location. The staff is described as polite and ambitious, turning over products readily and not rushing customers, even near closing time. While not perfect, the store is more organized, allowing carts to easily go down the aisles. Some customers recommend checking expiration dates on food items before purchasing. Feedback on customer service varies, with some noting a lack of greeting from staff, while others had positive interactions. The store aims to deliver an improved and reliable shopping experience.
I miss Jackie at this location...and the store should be rename, because nothing about it is a dollar...prices don't match the name (DOLLAR GENERAL)

some of the cashiers are rude. they won’t greet you, won’t make conversation, wont say have a nice day, nothing. and it’s hard to navigate through aisles when un loaded product is constantly in the way. but yeah why work customer service if you fail to even acknowledge/ engage with the customers.
