Took my car in to get an estimate. Joe said he would call me within 1-2 days but he never called with the estimate.

Waited 2 weeks just for then to fill out the assignment through insurance. Insurance company called them and they said I never went in when I went 3 separate times to get the estimate done and sent in. Took off work multiple times just for them to tell me come back tomorrow.

I took our vehicle to FJM for an estimate on some body work. Was told I'd have to wait until the person who does the estimates finishes his lunch. After waiting 35 minutes a guy, sorry, dont remember his name, showed up, did the estimate and said he'd get back to me. Two weeks passed and no call so I called them. Spoke to the same guy and his excuse was they've been really busy. After giving him my name he asked what color is the car and also asked about the damage. He said he'd get back to me the next day. My name should have been all he needed to look up the estimate, but the extra questions and 2 week time frame indicated to me that he didn't even do the estimate. Today is the day that he's supposed to call but the poor customer service up to this point doesn't inspire me to have them do my repairs even if he calls. They used to do fantastic work but the owner of 40+ years died last year and its obvious now that things have changed. It's hard to find a place you trust with your vehicle. Sadly now, I no longer trust them and will have to start the process again of finding a shop I can trust.

So back in April I received my stimulus check and since all my bills were paid up I decided to treat myself. I wanted to do some cosmetic/bodywork to my car and I also wanted to help out a local business through these difficult times. I came here to FJM Autobody once before to get my rear bumper painted back in May of 2018 when I accidentally backed into a post and they did an amazing job then painting my bumper. Well this time around I had them get rid of surface rust on my hood and near the back doors of my car. They also repainted my hood, front and rear bumpers and the areas where they got rid of the surface rust. I even purchased aftermarket LED headlights and tail lights and they went out of their way to put those on for me. They even fixed up my rear passenger door on my right side and now it opens and closes without any difficulties. They even provided me with a loaner car both times I brought my car into their shop. My car looks brand new and Mr. Joe Kumstar went out of his way to answer my questions and to make sure the job was done correctly. The owner Frank helped me out the first time I came to his business and now I understand how they’ve been in business for the past 47 years. I highly recommend FJM for anything automotive related. I will certainly recommend them to friends, family and anyone looking for a good body shop/mechanic!
