Huck's, a thriving convenience store chain operated by Martin and Bayley, Inc., has expanded to over 130 locations across five states. In 2001, the company made a landmark decision to sell to its employees, creating a 100% employee-owned enterprise. Huck's has also established the Karing for Kids Charitable Fund in 2005, reflecting its commitment to community welfare by supporting underprivileged children during the Christmas season and throughout the year. Customers praise Huck's for its friendly staff, clean and well-maintained facilities, and delicious fresh pizza offerings. The convenience store is open 24/7, with the gas pumps and lighting areas remaining active even when the store is closed, ensuring a safe and accessible experience for late-night travelers. While the gas prices at some Huck's locations may be higher than nearby competitors, the company's partnership with the Upside app allows customers to take advantage of significant cash-back opportunities per gallon. Overall, Huck's has established itself as a financially robust, employee-owned business that prioritizes community support and provides a convenient, clean, and welcoming environment for its customers across the Midwest.
Stopped to grab coffee and hot chocolate on our way back from Madison IN to Greenfield. The clerk was super friendly and a customer outside in flip flops was very kind as well. Hope is a lovely little town to stop at.
