Ark Paws & Claws Book Store is a great little used bookstore and a small town treasure. It has full, well-organized shelves with a large variety of books, movies, and music for all tastes, plus some items for pets. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. All proceeds from purchases support the local animal shelter. Prices are very reasonable and inexpensive. The store only accepts cash. It is a wonderful place to shop and donate books for a terrific cause.
Possibly the best little used bookstore in the whole world. Best prices around and all the proceeds go towards helping animals. ❤

Love the store. I know that it is run by volunteers but it could have a schedule or calendar on their Facebook page. I drove all the way to Howe and they were closed on a Saturday when they were supposed to be open. Ugh!

We love this used bookstore! We have shopped here twice. It has full shelves that are well-categorized. Friendly, helpful staff. All proceeds support local animal shelters. They only accept cash.
