Charged more than was told. ordering and dropping off is easy, but customer service on payment dates and pick up was a small pain.

Updated: Dropping down to 3 for the fees. Called today (850am) to schedule pick up for tomorrow and am being charged a 50 fee for 'next day pick up' lol. So you want people to call days in advance? I guess. I also don't think the promo rate was applied to the bill (but won't challenge that because I should have looked at the email confirmation when it was sent).
Will still give three for the tremendous service the drop off driver provided. But wouldn't particularly recommend.
Previous review: I see mixed reviews but the person I worked with today was so helpful. Called me on his way (verified the address), came when he said he would arrive, and then worked with me to get unit placed exactly where I needed it to be given that I also had a dumpster coming. Will update once I've had it moved out if anything of note happens, but so far, am pleased.

We had trouble getting ahold of customer service to pick unit up. When we were able to contact someone, they could not pick it up in time and we were charged an entire extra month. Do not use them- if you have any issues they do not work with you- they just say it’s in the contract.

Im OTR driver . I was in this facility to delivery and pick up an storage container and they put me back in the road in an hour.
Staff is nice and courteous .

Drivers were courteous and efficient. Container was picked up for storage, will rate the storage, delivery, and condition of contents on delivery.

Chris did a great job! Container arrived on time, was perfectly placed, and all our items arrived just as they were packed! I highly recommend them.

We moved from Florida to Indiana and I received a call from Genaro stating that he was delivering my container and should be there within 45 minutes. 45 minutes later Genaro showed up and was extremely polite and eager to place the container in the correct location. A few days later Genaro called stating he was on his way to pick up the empty container and was just as polite. I had swept out the empty container before he showed up and he went above and beyond and inspected the container and swept it out as well before he delivered it to the next location. It was a pleasure meeting such a polite and eager member of your Pack Rat team. Thanks Genaro!

Do not use Pack Rat. They do not follow appointment times. They damage your property and say read your contract. They don’t place POD where instructed and when you call them to come out and replace where you want it, they want to charge a fee for their initial mistake. Please stay away from this place, a bunch of nickel and dime you to death business that is in my opinion terrible and needs a lot of help to do the right thing. This is damage they did to my driveway they refuse to fix, even though they put POD in wrong spot. I asked them to call me numerous times and never happened.

Great experience with the guys at the Indianapolis Packrat. They delivered my container on time, gave me a courtesy call, and was very nice. Definitely made my move very easy.

Absolutely terrible! Updated our account online with new payment information and deleted previous info. 4 days later, BOTH cards were charged. Have been told by Brittany in Wake Forest, NC that the credit was returned to the incorrect card. This is now day 17 and still no credit and she continues to tell me to check with bank. Bank says no credit has even been attempted. Customer service is AWFUL! I have called every day for the past 2 weeks and every person I speak to gives me a different story. I even sent copies of my bank statement to prove no credit has been sent! First was told it was a problem with their online system, well then it needs to be turned off, don’t let customers think they have things taken care of if your website page does not work correctly for your customers. Then I was told there was a problem with their “processor”. Absolutely unacceptable! My order number is 8974042. I will continue to pursue further actions until this issue is taken care of. I was actually going to use this company for my long distance move, but after all of the issues with just renting the storage unit to pack up for the move, unlikely I will be moving forward with them. I wish I would have seen the previous reviews before choosing this company over PODS.

Leaving a one star review because they failed to deliver our pod on time due to confusion on their end with an address. They had over 10 days to contact me, so this could have been rectified. I spoke to a man named Ian and he seemed to just brush me off. He told me the soonest they would be able to deliver would be February 27.Now me and my wife have go another 10 days without our household goods. (Over 20 days total).
I'm willing to remove this review when they decide to financially compensate me and my wife for having to spend additional money on a hotel and eating out because we can't cook our own food.
