My family and I have been going here for many years, probably over 10 years now and usually it's been good service until today when I reached out to have my taxes filed like every other year and got hit with a hefty $100 INCREASE from the previous year (2023).I'm aware that every year prices increase on goods and services but usually it's a slight increase that doesn't cause too much of a shock.(NOTE: the previous year I had taxes filed for 2 states and it was lower than what I was charged today for filing with 1 state)When I asked why the HUGE increase from 2023 filing for 2 states vs 2024 filing for 1 state, her explanation was that "everything has increased". Although true, the tone and lack of actual explanation was not appreciated for someone(family of 3 who all have our taxes filed there) who's been a loyal customer for over 10 years.I get and understand that "everything has increased" but this just seemed like straight robbery the amount i was charged today. I'm not sure it warrants a $100 increase right off the bat especially when every other year, the slight increases have been around $25 which is more reasonable and expected.Needless to say, I will not be returning and neither will the rest of my family after today.
