Don't have much stuff that isn't brand new or classics. Still a good bookstore, just could be better.

This is the mother ship of all B&Ns...so many cool games on top of the book selection. Great layout, super clean too.

Better selection of books in store than Half Price Books and Books A Million. Was able to find the books I was looking for here.

Huge Barnes and Noble with a big game and toy section. Very nice inside. Also has a cafe.

The last of a kind. I miss Borders. Books-A-Million is inept (I co-managed the one in Kokomo for awhile in the 00s). For now, Barnes and Noble is the last big box bookstore.

THIS Barnes and Noble at Keystone Fashion Mall is the most elegant BN that I have ever seen. Lovely cafe and friendly staff!

I was in Indianapolis on 3 August 2023 and was looking for books for multiple family members of different ages. I went to B&N in Greenwood, IN. I was looking in various sections and am employee began following me around. It was very awkward. I made eye contact with her many times and even said hi. She kept trailing me until finally a manager came up and -- while on the phone, mind you -- said in a very loud and aggressive voice, "Are you finding everything okay?" which of course is code for, "We are watching you." Afterward the only reason I could imagine is that I brought my own cloth bag rather than use their environmentally harmful plastic bags. But I kept it open and with me and obvious to the fact that I had 6-8 books in it. If someone, anyone, had offered to help, then I would have told them my needs. It was very unwelcoming, even humiliating!

Cashiers are lovely and deal with rude customers brilliantly. Had a married couple with a daughter of about 8 or so in front of me in line. The husband wouldn't let his wife ask a question, then yelled at the cashier for answering her instead of paying attention to him. The cashier was very calm and handled the situation with more respect than I would have ever been able to (If the wife sees this, leave him and take your daughter sweetie lol)

I always love stopping in for a coffee and good browsing for new releases. The selection is incredible. I love finding gift items. There are several categories to search out. Gardening, astronomy, meditation...there is something for everyone. I was so very annoyed by an author coming up to me, while I was browsing in a whole different section, AFTER I looked at his table at the entrance and glanced at his books. I have absolutely no interest in his subject matter, especially non-fiction work, or I would have stopped at his table. I felt so uncomfortable ? Why did this happen? Guest authors need to stay with their books at the table, not approach customers like a salesman.
