This is for Pointe on Mass on 406 E Michigan St: I recently concluded dealing with this property management company, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about the service I endured during my time there.Maintenance Negligence:I submitted a maintenance request in March, and it took them until October – the month I moved out – to address the issue. This wasn’t the first time it happened either. I had water leaking out of my dishwasher and it took multiple emails to resolve. This blatant disregard for resident concerns reflects the overall lack of responsibility and care exhibited by the management.Deceptive Lease Renewal Practices:I was informed that I couldn't renew my lease due to impending renovations, only to discover that the renovations were minimal – just new paint and a fridge. They offered another apartment on another floor but, I would have had to pay $400 more with no added amenities, and if I chose not to move, my rent was auto-renewed at a market rate, which was a staggering $500 more than my previous rent.Failure to Provide Notice:Despite promises of a 30-day notice to vacate, I never received any communication from the management. As a result, my lease auto-renewed without my consent(I didn’t submit a 60-day notice because I was told I’d HAVE to move out - I know better now), creating a significant financial burden.Unjust Charges and Poor Communication:Upon moving out in September, I informed the management of my departure, yet they continued to charge me for trash and late rent. The constant turnover in the office led to a severe lack of communication, leaving me frustrated and without resolution. I spent hours on the phone and had to take time out of my days to go into the office.Security Deposit Nightmares:Despite leaving the property in good condition, I just recently received my security deposit back. Attempts to communicate with the ever-changing management were exhausting.Unprofessional Debt Collection Tactics:The ordeal extended into February, with the management attempting to charge me without any prior notification. To make matters worse, they sent the claim to a debt collection agency without attempting to contact me via email or phone, leading to harassing calls from debt collectors. In summary, my experience with this property management company was riddled with negligence, deceptive practices, unprofessionalism, and a complete lack of regard for tenants. One manager even suggesting I consult my parents due to my age, disregarding my financial independence. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from them to explore alternative options with more responsible and respectful management.

Discriminatory and unorganized, this company manages "The Pointe on Mass" apartment complex. Since I moved into this apartment in November of last year, I have been lied to numerous times by the property manager Arika. I was hit by a car while walking my dog and suffered a broken leg and required a knee replacement as well as the death of my dog. I informed the property manager that I would need an additional key fob so that a home Healthcare nurse could provide necessary medical care for me as I am not mobile. I was told to get a $50 money order, which I had someone purchase the money order for me. I notified Arika that I had the money order and she informed me that she changed her mind and that I could not get another key fob because she didn't feel that the ho e Healthcare nurse should have access to provide me medical care. Not only is this a violation of ADA, it's completely unethical. This company has discriminated against me since day one. I'm contacting legal representation to file a lawsuit against this company. So please avoid this property management company at all cost.I've contacted you directly and I am waiting on a response from the special accommodation form that I filled out and returned to Grant. It's ridiculous that I have to go through these measures to be allowed the basic needs. No one from your company has shown an ounce of empathy, compassion, or common sense. Yet, you reply with these generic responses knowing that you really don't care.

Cedar Glen Apartments, which is owned by Barrett and Stokely, has been without hot water and without heat for weeks, this isnt the first December they've experienced without hot water.

The office staff are very nice and helpful and professional. Aleksa is just the best and she will go the extra mile to help you if she can.The maintenance people are great also.I have been here at Millikan On Mass in Indianapolis almost 7 years and I just love it. It's a great location right in the middle of downtown where everything is happening. The only drawback for me personally is I don't have a balcony. Only a very few apartments have a balcony, but I guess they can't do anything about that. Lol ?

I have lived in this apartment complex for 22 years. Most of the apartments in this complex have been upgraded. Mine has not. I asked the district manager about having my apartment painted. He told me that the company would supply the paint; but, I'd have to pay someone to do the painting. He said that the company would not get some one to paint because the painters that you employ did not move furniture. I suggested that if I got somebody who would move my furniture to paint that the fee be deducted from my rent. He would not agree to it. I also have large cracks in the cement on my patio. I have been reporting that for over 5 years. There are cracks in my walkway that need to be repaired. There is a Crack in the bottom of the partition between Apt. E (the unit where I live) and Apt. F. These are the major things that I have reported. There has been damage to the building directly across from me since early spring. It makes the property look neglected. There are several minor things that I have reported that have not been taken care of. There is an area in my living room where the carpet is tattered an torn. It has been that way fir a long time. When the company that owned the property before you replaced the roof someone broke the skylight in the unit that I occupy. Some type of adhesive got on the carpet and the .maintenance man used some type of solution that damaged the carpet to clean it. Every time it rains, the skylight seeps water. I have reported it. We had little tiny black ant. I was able to get rid of them on my own. I hope that the information that I have provided has been helpful.

I have lived here since 2009 since the day I moved in I have been asking for new carpet. And every year I get some excuse why they cannot do it. My carpet was unsatisfactory when I Moved in, but I have been dealing with it. What do I have to do to get new carpet in my apt,I am thinking about moving out because of this.

Lived here for almost 3 years and now buying a house . To get out of my lease with 3 months left I have to pay $2100.00 dollars. I wouldn’t move here if you’re planning on buying a house later. I have lived places that says no charge if you’re buying a house. Look for those places so you can save money.

The units are nice. The only downside I’m finding is that there is no way to let guests, visitors, delivery into the building without taking the elevator to the parking garage and opening the door for them. This building is new and I would have thought had that figured out.

This review is for Nickel Plate Station in Fishers, IN. The units themselves are beautiful but the noise surrounding the community is awful. You are next to a police & fire station so expect to hear sirens at all hours of the day. There are no hours for the swings on the trail so expect to have drunk screaming people at 2am outside your windows. You’re one block away from an outdoor amphitheater so expect your windows to rattle a lot during the evening in summer months. Also, please read your lease in detail and check your statements often. If you have a pet, your $300 pet fee goes towards nothing. I paid a $600 pet fee for my two dogs and upon move out found out that was just something that went in Barrett & Stokely’s pocket in addition to the ~$900 in pet rent I paid over my stay there. There aren’t any dog parks or dog areas on the property that you would think a fee would go towards to maintain.
