When I arrived to pick up my TV I spent 850+ on, the customer service rep at the register was extremely condescending and rude to me. He argued with me and fought me about bringing my merchandise out to the front, as he said the tv would not fit in my car. He actively belittled me on the radio when speaking to the warehouse tech. This is despite the fact that I ensured by measuring beforehand and finding photo evidence of a 65 inch tv in a new box fitting in the exact make and model of my car.He continued to belittle and attempt to embarrass me on the radio with the warehouse tech. Eventually he begrudgingly and angrily told me to pull up to the front with our car. I had my girlfriend pull up to the front and I went inside to help the tech. The tech wouldn’t look me in the eye and was visibly angry. The warehouse tech did not acknowledge my existence when I attempted to help him carry the box. Instead, he manhandled my tv, throwing it around and did not so much as speak to me or look me in the eye.Of course, when he got to the car, I opened the back, and the tv box fit in my car exactly as I said it would. It had room to spare and was not difficult whatsoever to slide in. No apology or acknowledgment was given to me from the warehouse tech. He still did not even manage to look me in the eye after closing the door to my car. He stormed in angrily without a word, probably embarrassed and frustrated as he and the service rep were proven completely wrong.I am concerned for the integrity of the tv I spent close to a grand on due to the tech’s handling of it. I have never in my life seen someone treat something so expensive with such disdain and brute force. If he couldn’t carry the merchandise properly he should have just accepted my help or just let me carry it myself.I have never experienced such a negative interaction as a customer anywhere in my thirty years of my life. Which has motivated me to write the only negative review I have ever written. I don’t ask for anything as a customer. I just wanted to pickup what I paid for. Don’t even need to smile or be kind; simple acknowledgement and professionalism would have been completely fine.Due to both the customer service rep at the front and the warehouse tech, I will never spend another dollar at Best Buy when before it was my go to for same day pickups rather than Amazon delivery. Luckily we have a Microcenter up the street now from this store. Spend your money there instead. I know I will.

I just spent ANOTHER $100 for a SECOND ROUND of fixes for grossly negligent backup camera wiring by the "Geeks" at BB Castleton. I had a Sony XAV-AX1000 touchscreen audio deck, four Kicker speakers, and a backup camera (linked to the Sony deck) installed a couple years ago.Within days after installation, the backup camera stopped working. The "Geeks" checked it out and said there was no problem with their wiring and installation of the camera; but, rather, some issue with the car's electronics. I took the vehicle to an auto electric specialist who found that the camera had been improperly wired into the backup light switch on the transmission in such a way that it shorted and burnt out the switch. I had to have the switch replaced and that wiring point corrected. $100-plus expense for which BB did end up crediting/refunding after a growing burden of hassles and extremely poor communication.A few weeks later, one of the new Kicker speakers failed. No cause disclosed, but BB replaced under warranty.Over the past 12 months, the backup camera has been intermittently cutting out (no signal to the Sony deck). The come-and-go video feed seemed very likely to be a loose connection.Today, I had a reputable audio specialist troubleshoot the system. Again, extremely negligent wiring by Best Buy - Castleton. The wiring to the camera on the rear hatch/tailgate was run OUTSIDE of the protective rubber wiring port/tube (where backup light and other wiring was run by the factory) and exposed and subject to pinching, crimping, and eventual breakage in the opening and closing of the hatch. That inevitability is what happened. Instead of taking two additional minutes to run the wiring through the rubber port/tube as it was designed and provided, they took the lazy, sloppy, careless approach. The wiring was also not properly grounded. Our trusted car audio resource (who we should have worked with in the first place; but thought we'd save a couple hundred dollars by working with Best Buy) resolved all the issues and properly re-wired the backup camera.Perhaps a 2-Star review would be appropriate considering BB did refund the expense of the initial wiring failure ... but ... considering all the hassles, communication failures, and time wasted in resolving issues that never should have happened in the first place, a 0-Star review would be justified, if available.

I have bought several computers, TV’s and miscellaneous items here. Recently I bought some Air Pods and a couple iPads here. Walking is a problem for me anymore and I have been able to come in and sit. I’ve showed them what I want on my phone and the kind young people that work there have shopped the store for me. I never had to leave the register and there was seating “ a wheelchair” right by the registers. I’m pretty much limited to shopping only where handicap carts are available. So THANK YOU Best Buy for making shopping still possible at my favorite electronics store. I’m skeptical about having high priced items mailed to me. So if they had not done this, I would not have made this purchase.

There’s really nothing that special or impressive about this store on its surface, just a regular bestbuy as you may expect. Giving 4 stars for the associate who helped me purchase a starter gaming PC for my son. He spent time to ensure I got a good machine for a great price and helped me find a good/rare deal. My son was very pleased and so was I with the cost.

Floor people ignored me, waited 30 minutes, went to front and girl there directed me back to where I was before and someone would help me, waited again. No one came so I left. Took it as a sign I didn't need to spend my money there. Only reason for two stars is because girl in the front was nice
