Had a great buying experience with Bernie. I was riding a Giant Option built in 1995, lots of miles and was ready for an upgrade. Bernie looked at the old bike and suggested a Giant Escape 3 Comfort which is perfect. A nice sale price plus trade in afforded new LED lights front and back and the staff changed my accessories from the old bike to new. Thanks again. I highly recommend.

I brought in some good but old Mavic wheels that needed a new freehub. The service department put in a lot of personal extra effort tracking down the part I needed, not pushing a new wheelset on me. They have several team members who love legacy bikes that don't have the latest tech but can still provide years of fun riding. My wheels roll great again thanks to their efforts which were above and beyond what one expects these days from the retail world.

I bought this Serrotta bike at BGI in 2001, all Campagnolo Record , and it’s nice to shop at a store that has what I need in stock. I’m 83 and still riding it.

Our experiences with BGI have been nothing short of exceptional over the years. Today we purchased our son's bike for his birthday and our associate, Zoe was so kind and helpful. She gave us great information for our son's bike and how to outfit it. Zoe also took time to make sure we picked out the best fitting helmet. Before leaving with the bike, it goes through a final safety test and any equipment you buy gets installed--such a a great service and value. The service department was very kind and so quick! They gave great information on how to make adjustments and when to bring the bike in for service. Thanks all and we'll be back soon!

Was able to get a new bike at a great price. Todd helped find the right fit for me and didn’t just try to sell me something I didn’t need. Also my wife got her bike tuned up with a quick turnaround and no issues. Will definitely come back in any time I need anything bike related

BGI made it happen for me when I had a brake failure just days before a mountain bike trip out of state. They were able to expedite my order and even tuned up a few things quickly!Will happily do business with them again!

Have had nothing but outstanding experiences with BGI North. They have a great selection of parts and tools in stock both common and less common. They really listen to the issues you are dealing with and make sure you have a solution before leaving the store. I recommend to everyone.

We came to get a new bike for me and a trailer for our toddler. The sales associate who helped us was very knowledgeable about different brands and models and was able to suggest a bike I never would have looked at otherwise. He was respectful of our price range, answered questions, and never tried to oversell. Another perk of buying a bike with BGI is you get a tuneup during your first 12 months to ensure everything is working properly on your new bike. We’ll definitely come back!

I want to especially acknowledge the wonderful service I have received from Jenn Gonzalez when I have brought my two bikes in for service. All the stars!! I'm a customer for life! BGI treated me so well and thoroughly, speedily, and cost-effectively took care of my bike. This is a two-part saga. I made a last second decision to participate in Indy's night bike ride. My bike was not quite as ready for the miles as I was. A retrofit skewer I was using to add a bike trailer hitch onto my back wheel was degrading and causing some issues. Patrick and another technician from BGI were eager and determined to solve the issue, a mere half hour before the ride began. They filled my tires with air, diagnosed this larger issue and did what they could "in the field" to get me road-ready. They encouraged me to bring it into the store/shop during business hours to have the skewer properly replaced by a better quality one (beware what Amazon has to offer). At the pit stop of the ride, probably 20 miles in, one of them saw me and approached just to check in and make sure I was moving along well on the ride. My bike was great for the entire ride. Fast forward a week and I brought it in to be looked at. As luck would have it, Patrick was working and dove right in to replace the skewer. He also noticed a bit of a conflict between my kickstand and the aforementioned trailer hitch. After I showed him an image of the bike trailer I had at home, he took the time to not only solve the skewer issue, but improve the bike hitch situation entirely for me. He even grabbed a floor model bike trailer to test out the new configuration, which involved some creative problem-solving and a consult with one other technician. I was in and out of the shop in 30 mins with a stable skewer, a totally reasonable bill (he didn't even charge me for all the parts since some were not boxed parts), and a safer and more functional hitch mechanism. You cannot get better service than that. Thanks, Patrick and BGI! I'll be back and I'll send my people to you for all their bike needs!
