When I came to pick up my rental I had to go through 4 cars before I got a suitable rental the first one sounded like I was driving on a gravel road, second one the plates were expired, third one smelled awful, had stains on the seat that were not tolerable and the front bumper was coming off. I asked the lady at the desk if she could just upgrade me to the next vehicle and this is actually where I was appalled because not only did she slam the keys on the counter but she also spoke o me as though I DID SOMETHING WRONG and stayed “well if this vehicle is not okay then I don’t have anything for you”, she was annoyed and bothered an spoke lie so as though the entire situation wasn’t fault and not Budget. I couldnt understand why she was upset because these were not my cars nor wouldI just except anything just as she would not especially the reasons I mentioned above. It put a bad taste in my mouth so to speak and I will definitely seek other options and pay more to a competitor before considering Budget especially the location I dealt with!!!! I reserved a car 2 weeks ago for my trip on 6/16. I got a text today saying that they don't have any more cars. So unprofessional! What is the purpose of a reservation it you don't honor it. This is a huge inconvenience! This will not happen to me again with Budget.

Terrible rental experience. Had a 5 day rental and Bluetooth didn’t work the whole time. Returned the rental and addressed the issue and complaint and the man didn’t even care and just shook his head.

Super easy and quick. Staff is great as well. Not a long wait for my rental, plus return fee is lower than most rental companies which is a plus. Who doesnt like an extra 50-100 bucks!

Took 3 weeks of not being able to get my vehicle registration and insurance and all I got after $900.00 rental fees was 100 bucks and a shoulder shrug. This location does not care about safety they gave me a very dangerous vehicle to drive. Manager dis not care at all worse experience ever

Already unhappy. Reserved a TRUCK- quite specifically for moving- was told extremely unapologetically that there's only vans today. Starting moving day off right! Willing to change review depending on how this is handled

This place on West Washington Street saved our bacon, the airport counter let us down and referred us to this place. Good call on the counter persons part. We don't have a credit card on purpose. The airport accepted our debit to the tune of 700.00$ when we got to the counter, they said we won't let you have a car because you don't have a credit card. Nathan was over the top 110%on board in getting us taken care of. Too bad there are only five stars available. Many thanks to Nathan at West Washington Street Budget rentals.

We had expired plate and when I tried to call they never answered so I called in fort wayne for help. When I told them in Indianapolis about the plate and how I got told it needs fix they didn't even care and told me it's my problem. I will be using different rent and want my money back for the services

The car I requested wasn’t available so I was forced to get a car that required E15 fuel. I only knew of this because I needed gas prior to returning back from my trip. No one at the reservation desk told me and to be honest I wouldn’t put anyone in a car that takes special gas unless it’s known or requested. There was no car manuals or anything in the car for the vehicle. I only found out about the fuel when I opened the cap and seen it displayed. Prior to seeing it I called the number to budget and was transferred to the reservation line who couldn’t assist! Upon me coming back from my trip I had to drive around for 3 hours trying to find the fuel that no one carried! I was offered another vehicle but required more money per day. Typically when you reserve a car and it isn’t available they’ll give you a free upgrade.

Booked a appointment on there website . Got a confirmation number . They have been emailing me for days let me know about my car rental . I get up here stand in a long line for them to tell me “ ohhhh we don’t have any cars left “ and that the online reservation keeps accepting people knowing they don’t have any cars . Why not call people to let them know or cancel them in advance ?

Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. This location opens at 8am but no one arrived to the office until 8:15am. Even then, the only person that was able to give out the keys to the vehicles that had already been reserved was 30 minutes late to work. We had a scheduled vehicle pick up at 8am in order to get on the road early for an all day drive, this employees late arrival and complete lack of regard for anyone elses time caused us to not leave the office until 9am, getting a much later start to our drive.

Ginger hair guy was so rude. He said no words as I walked in until i said im returning a car. I handed him the reservation slip and he took the key, said “ok” and walked outside and naturally i followed him. We got all the way across the lot to the car and he turned with an attitude and said you dont have to follow me you know. I walked back embarrassed. He tried to charge for a chip in the windshield that was already documented by the woman who rented me the car. He said there was no documentation in their folders so I had to dig out my wrinkly old receipt from 2 weeks ago and he looked at it and said I need to keep that closeby from now on. ???? (I was returning the car and it should have been in his files). Mailman also walked in and brought him stuff to sign and budget dude didnt even say hello or give him any time of day.Overall i dont think he should be working a customer facing job

I’ve been a Budget costumer for more than 2 years with up to 10 months straight rental!During this time I dealt with many Budget’s agents, but my experience with Mr.Kevin was super great! He maid my 10 days rental so easy in term of check in, extension(don’t even needed to call him), and check out was just amazing!Budget does not need my review because it’s already has the market but this was my statement from this experience!
