I thought the deal was fair and the trade/buying process was smooth. I would have given a higher rating but it was not disclosed to me that the 2022 Subaru I purchased only had one key fob and I did not know this until we were walking out at the end of the deal. The salesman, who seemed honest, said the 2022 Outback only came with one key which I have learned is not true. All Subarus come with 2 fobs. So this soured me a bit on this dealership. Make sure you ask about fobs because they are not cheap to replace as I’m finding out. You’d think that since Carmax asks you if you have both keys for your trade they would provide two for cars they sell.

Outstanding, seamless experience. I almost can’t believe it was so smooth. I entered all info online for my Yukon I was looking to sell, received a very good offer, and set an appointment with local Carmax location. Process when I arrived for my appointment was really easy and took about 45 minutes total. No hassles, appraisal in person matched the online offer, and I received the check on the spot. Everything went exactly as they said it would. Rare to get that with just about anything anymore. Definitely recommend Carmax as an option if you’re looking to sell you car.

Guy that helped me got upset and was rude after declining their extended warranty. Car had many more flaws than advertised and was sold to me with a non working ac blower. Coolant was low, it had 87 gas in it when it should've been premium. But I already paid for shipping so I got it anyway. Would never use carmax again.

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with Carmax. They were more than fair with my trade in offer and provided excellent service while purchasing my Chevy truck. I would definitely work with Carmax again and have already recommended them to others.

This is the 3rd vehicle we have bought from CarMax. We test drove our reserved vehicle, got a great trade in deal, and purchased our new car in less than 2 hours. Our salesperson was great to work with and answered all our questions. Such a great experience. Very happy with our new car.

Trash customer service after the sale. Don't bother with the CarMax Warranty you'll never be able to get ahold of anyone to attempt to use it. WHY bother? I spent $1500 in time trying to see if my engine failure is a covered item or if I'm SOL... Don't buy anything from this place ever!

The process of purchasing (and trade in) was very smooth. The website was easy to us. All questions were answered directly and honestly. A minor mechanical issue was addressed promptly. I will use Carmax in the future if at all possible.

Hassle-free experience. Two of my siblings already had good experiences with CarMax so, when I suddenly had a need for a new vehicle, I decided to give them a shot. No hidden fees, the price is the price. The salesman was helpful and up-front with the details. I had the car inspected by my mechanic during the 10 day “money-back” period and they gave it the thumbs up. They removed most of the stress that normally comes with my car buying experiences.
