The Factory Arts District is a unique, sprawling industrial and urban venue within walking distance of Indy’s Mass Ave Cultural District. It is a super cool art place, a great place to kill some time or show friends from out of town. The complex is home to more than half a million square feet of studio, office, warehouse, and fabrication space, featuring visitable businesses and semi-private art studios all under a single roof. Visitors can enjoy a brewery open daily, a pottery and home decor shop, an ice cream shop, and a distillery with a cocktail bar. Every First Friday of the month, the complex opens up its 90+ artists and galleries to the public. There are all kinds of hidden little gems amongst the buildings, including places for classes and activities. It is a great, unique venue with plenty to do and check out, from artists and food trucks to music and movies.

Enjoyed the Indy Film Fest 2026. Had a wonderful time! Even though it was crowded it wasn't too hot and still comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and offered Healthcare items in the women's, which was great to see the consideration.
