We ordered the stiffest of the comfort option mattresses (FLEX-2-45). After having for a year, we are extremely satisfied. The materials have proven to be high quality with a dense foam, since we have not seen any drooping in the mattress with only a slight softening in the firmness (as we expected). The mattress is great temperature-wise, even though we skipped on theKulKote. Note: we placed the mattress on a 3/4" piece of plywood pierced with many airflow holes on top of slats to minimize drooping.The mattress arrived on time and properly protected. We ordered a king, so it was quite difficult to maneuver. Just make sure you have an extra hand.

Wish I could rate my experience with Comfort Option five stars, but there were two weeks having requested a replacement layer through their contact page where I heard nothing back. Two separate messages just went unanswered. Eventually I replied to the original order confirmation email and got a speedy response from one of their reps. Took another week for it to arrive. That's a month of trying out a new mattress with some pretty awful back pain and another three weeks of waiting for it to be resolved. The new layer was also a little bigger than the rest. Not a big deal, but it was enough to be noticeable.The foam itself is excellent. Pretty much what I expected in the best way. Good quality, and some peace of mind knowing I can just swap out layers in case of damage/wear and tear instead of needing to replace the entire thing. This is what they advertise, and I'm here for it. Additionally, the trial period is pretty great. Don't like something? Swap it out until you get a combination you do like. No extra charge.I'm enjoying my new bed, and also like Comfort Option as a business in general. Despite some failed communication attempts I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to grab a new mattress.

Big shout out to the entire team at Comfort Option. All of the team members I interacted with via email were kind, patient, and highly knowledgeable of their product and how to apply it to my needs.I have back issues and hip failure. I thought I knew what I liked in a mattress. Turns out that I had no idea what I needed. The folks at Comfort Option sure did help me figure it out, though.Comfort Option reached out to me to check out how my new mattress was and not once but twice helped me make adjustments to get to the best combination of layers for me. I am now having better sleep and comfort than I could've hoped for. 10/10, would buy again.

Overall I’d recommend a Comfort Option mattress. The customer service was extremely responsive and the quality of the foam is unmatched. We started with one of their softer options and I quickly realized I needed more support. They had a new top layer shipped out to me in under a week. Unfortunately however, I still felt like the mattress wasn’t supportive enough. The representative suggested moving to their firmer base layer. Again, the base arrived quickly, but I found that switching the bottom layer is very difficult even with the help of a partner. This is due to the fact that the mattress cover, even though it’s made of high quality materials, does not have a ton of “slack”. It comes wrapped around your original mattress order, but trying to remove it and then fit it under a new, very heavy/unwieldy base layer is not a fun task. A few hours of struggle later though, I was left with a wonderful mattress that feels plush on the top while still not letting me sink in too far. I’m very happy with the end result, even though the journey was bumpy at times. Ideally I would’ve picked the correct construction at the beginning to avoid this process, but even so I’d recommend this company to anyone who is fed up with the low quality of most mattresses-in-a-box.

Absolutely love this mattress, I could not make a decision after tons of research and was way overdue to buy a new mattress. I found the recommendation for this brand when I discovered an unbiased sleep quality forum and I’m so glad I did.

I love my mattress & I've been sleeping like a baby! I would and do recommend comfort option to anyone looking for a new mattress.I did not need to make adjustments or rebuild, but knowing id be able to tweak things for 120 days until I got it exactly right was very reassuring.

We love our new mattress. It was nice to not feel rushed while shopping. We went back and forth swapping out the mid and top layers a few times. We got it right, but I like knowing we can change out layers in the future should our preference change.

A nice, well-built mattress: soft, supportive, and uniform. If I could send it back to re-tweak some of its aspects, I would, but I know its not reasonable economically to pursue this (time wise for me, repackaging and shipping, and you trying give me what you think I want, then ship it back for me to try again- argh). I like the mattress a lot. I guess if I could tweak it, I would want it a little firmer; a little more foundational support.

Fantastic mattress and great service. I didn't love the top layer of the mattress I picked so they sent me a different one for free that was perfect for me. This is an excellent company.

Comfort option is fantastic. They take high quality diy foam that you'd usually have to figure out yourself with tools online to help you configure the best combination. The result: the most amazing sleep you've ever had. We are already looking forward to replacing the other mattresses in our house.
