Bought my husband a Milwaukee leaf blower and double charger w/one battery for Christmas. Ace had a promotion buy one get one free. A couple of days after Christmas my husband tried it out. He charged battery until it was ready. When he used it the battery only lasted around 4 or 5 minutes. He tried the battery multiple times.
I called Ace and Phinneus answered the phone. I told her what was happening and she let me know she was the manager and an expert on testing these batteries and told me to have my husband bring it to the store the next day during her shift. My husband arrives and found Phinneus, her expertise way of testing is getting a black and decker drill and using it to test a Milwaukee battery! My husband let her know that it will not interchange. He then calls me from the car and said they wouldn’t exchange the battery. I told him to go back in because they are a licensed dealer of Milwaukee products and should exchange it.
I called her on the phone and reminded her on how she said she was an expert on testing and she said she would exchange for a working battery. My husband was standing there next to her while I was talking to her, he said she was shaking and upset. I told her I would be calling Ace and Milwaukee customer service to let them know, she said please do then she proceeded to hang up the phone on me. She told my husband over and over, I know this looks bad, it looks like we sold you a faulty battery and won’t replace it, she continued and said that is not the case. She said the sale on these are final and no returns. It does not say that on the receipt.
Called Ace customer service and they said it’s not the stores policy to exchange the battery even though it says no where on receipt that there is NO exchange and we would have to call Milwaukee if we wanted a new battery. The receipt actually says it has a 30 day return policy. It doesn’t say they won’t replace a faulty battery.
Going to call Milwaukee and see if they will exchange battery and let them know their licensed dealer ACE will not exchange. Wish me luck! This store is extremely unprofessional. Ace customer service is extremely unprofessional as well. Will never do business with Ace again.

I come to this Ace a lot for my hardware needs. Very convient location, and easy to get to. The associates are helpful and nice, unlike, the bigbox stores where they don't want to help you out at all.

Just about everything in this store is over priced! But salt was better priced then most of the larger brands

Brian and his team were helpful and informative on my son’s field trip to ACE. They learned about making keys, stocking shelves, and mixing paint. Team members were patient and kind- the store was immaculate and the popcorn was fresh ☺️! We love supporting local businesses-

Always helpful. People actually know things there. There is a reason these stores stay open even tho big box stores are everywhere.

John was awesome! Spent about 30-35 min helping me with a piece for our spigot.
He was great and even put the new pieces back on for me.

Went in for a sthil brush knife, and Aaron was super helpful in getting me squared away. I've never been to an ace hardware before, and I've gotta say I'm pretty impressed. It's definitely worth the trip.

I went into this ACE on June 21st to purchase some Big Green Egg accessories. I would spend $500+ on 3 items. I was in the area of this location, otherwise I would have gone to a location closer to my home. I realized I forgot something else but both stores were closed, so I looked on their website. You can switch stores on the ACE website, so I selected what was the location closer to home for availability and price. I noticed the site suggested an item I had just purchased…$30 CHEAPER! I looked at the other two items, $30 and $10 CHEAPER! Both of these ACE Hardware locations are owned by the same person- Brent Benge. I asked the store to have the owner call me to discuss this issue. It’s very misleading to have one store pricing lower. Maybe it’s just a glitch? Nobody will call me back to answer my questions and I gave them a whole week before I returned the items. I reminded them that this is why people shop on Amazon and a big reason why I’ll never go back to them to support local. To add, both locations have been given the chance to explain and get me in touch with the owner. Terrible customer service!
