Regarding an encounter on Sept 24, 2025 at about 5:15 PM or so. I had been to Urgent Care and an Rx was sent to this CVS at 4401 E 10th street in Indianapolis, Linwood Square. I went to pick up this Rx, had to wait in line for 20 minutes, then was told that they didn't have it. I knew this wasn't true, I watched as the provider at Urgent Care sent it over on the computer. I told her that, and she argued with me, was rude, dismissive, and obnoxious. I told her that I had to start taking this med right away, I had been to Urgent Care. She kept saying they didn't send it. I asked her to call them, she said I would have to wait until it showed up. I knew it was in their system, I watched it being received. It was hopeless. From there, I went to the CVS at 10th and Arlington Ave. hoping they could help. The pharmacy tech there was just wonderful, polite and helpful, very nice. She said that the pharmacy at Linwood Square should have just refreshed their system instead of telling me that they never received my Rx from Urgent Care, because she could see that it was there in the system 10 minutes after I finished my Urgent Care visit, which was about 4:00 PM or so. Linwood Square tech just didn't want to be bothered, apparently. By the time all this mess was figured out, it was too late to get the Rx filled, which was an Urgent Visit Rx. Arlington Ave couldn't fill it because the Urgent Care center had sent it directly to the Linwood Square CVS. Linwood Square claimed they didn't have it and didn't fill it. I was very unhappy and went untreated that night. Essentially, my trip to Urgent Care was for nothing, because I couldn't get treated. I've been going to that Linwood Square CVS for decades, and in the last few years, it has just become dreadful, terrible customer service, rude pharmacy techs (not all of them), long waits...simply the worst pharmacy around. I have found a new pharmacy.

0/10 literally the worst pharmacy on the near east side. The drive through takes half an hour with one car ahead of you, you can’t exit the drive through once you’re in it because of concrete blocking the way… so plan to sit there for half an hour or more to pick up ANYTHING. There’s absolutely no reason customer service should take as long as it does here. Coming here for medication is the worst part of my day, month, week… whatever scenario you’d like to put it in. I loatheeeee coming here but my doctor sometimes sends scripts to the wrong location. Kroger across the street is 100x better. Going inside makes zero difference. You’ll still wait forever and it’s rare to find a friendly face.

This store struggled daily from thief's and bad attitudes, but there's never been a time that the associates are always positive and treat everyone with respect.

I alway have three prescriptions that they always fail to have in stock when I have to renew them... including insulin, of all things. It's really disappointing as these are all on auto refill and their system should be able to track what meds they should have in stock as they come due for refill. I don't understand why this happens so often. It has happened since they shut down the good CVS that was closer to us a few years ago. The workers are nice, but customer service should include having your pharmacy stocked sufficiently. Maybe it's a management issue? Please get your shit together #CVS.

I will not be coming back to any CVS. I have tried different ones across town and all are the same . They talk to you like your stupid and so unwilling to assist with anything. I came in today for a copy of my ID and the clerk pointed to the computer. I tried to ask if fax is available and she jumped in and said it's self service and pointed to the computer and said self service.

I’ve never used the pharmacy here, but the store itself is usually very pleasant. Is there usually some sketchy person loitering outside? Yes. But at night I have seen a security guard by the door and that helps. The employees are always so helpful, friendly, and engaging. I’ve never had a bad experience. The only complaint is sometimes stock is low in the cold/flu section, and prices are a little steep compared to Kroger in the same shopping center. But I like to avoid that Kroger anytime I can help it so I pay for the lack of drama.

Usually buy things from this CVS I found a few flowers that were going on sale the employees here are super nice and always helpful. One of the flowers I bought here last year the other two are from this year. Got them on sale.

Took my Mother today to get her prescription , lady at drive thru was very nice and respectful and had her prescription ready for her in 20 minutes. I think they're making a turn for the good.

My son has full coverage insurance. the drive thru guy told me it was 36.00. When I asked why he put the phone down wrote the amount on a piece of paper and held it to the window. I kept asking what insurance they have listed and just kept holding the paper up . So I went inside with his insurance card because he refused to communicate at the window. Funny how when I gave it he was like oh it 15 and I said what change since his last pick up? He couldn't answer and then suddenly it was fully covered under his insurance. They trying to scam people here?

Needed to pick up from pharmacy. Friendly clerk said it was shut down on Thursday 6/20/24 not to reopen til Monday.
