Pharmacy never answers their phone. Literally waited on hold for 1.5 hours and no one picked up. Terrible customer service.

I’ve been using this CVS for a few years, but I plan on switching locations soon. I don’t necessarily think it’s the employees’ faults - I’m guessing it’s poorly managed and understaffed.Whenever I pick up my meds, I can expect to wait in line for around 30 minutes which is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I’ve even gone at different days/times of the week, and it’s always busy with long waits no matter when I go. Recently, I ran out of a necessary medication and my app said it was “in progress” and “delayed” for several days. When I asked the staff about it, they said it was out of stock and that they hadn’t unloaded some boxes of a new shipment due to being overworked and understaffed, and that the medication was probably in there but they won’t know until they have the time to unbox it.I had to wait another 20 minutes to talk to the pharmacist to see what other locations had my medication in stock. She was very frantic when talking to me because she was running around and extremely busy. The next morning, my app still says my medication is in progress and delayed, so I’m going to have to call those other locations and request I pick up my medication there, if they’re even still in stock.Overall, this last experience was the final straw in my decision to switch cvs locations. I plan on switching to the cvs in target because it seems to have better reviews and I don’t recall it being extremely busy when I’m shopping at target.

No one answers the phone. Dr put in 2 emergency orders to get prescription filled because we were almost out. It always showed delayed on the app. Kept calling to check with no answer. This was over several days, multiple times of day calling. Had to go in, wait in line for 30 mins for someone to confirm that there are 2 emergency orders in their system. Still wasn't ready for pick up. They said it will be ready in 30 mins. Came back an hour later and it wasn't ready. Waited at the pick up window for 5 minutes while they filled it. This is unacceptable and we will be transferring our prescriptions away from CVS.

Unbelievable! CVS has lost two customers today. I'll let others know how badly CVS treats its customers. I was on hold for an hour and 20 mins when I finally got tired of waiting. I kept the call on hold and went to the pharmacy to see how busy the pharmacy was. Four employees were filling prescriptions, one helping at the drive-thru, and one helping at the front register. You could hear two calls on hold.Two cars were in the drive-thru, one person in front of me and then a person walked up behind me. There were six employees and none of them were answering the phones.The clerk's response to my question about if it is the company's policy to let people stay on hold for that long was – "You can see I am helping people. I could be helping customers or answering the phones."Guess what, CVS, the people on the phone calls are customers too. Well, I guess CVS has at least two fewer customers now.

Don't expect to get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy. I've been told they leave you on hold so eventually you hang up. When you address this in store they say they were "stocking," yet there is always one or two standing around goofing off or playing on their phone. Not sure who manages the pharmacists, but they aren't managing well!

Clean well stocked and organized CVS All the employees are very friendly and nice always say hello when you come in and very helpful if you have questions and I really like the coupons on the receipts helps me save money all the time This CVS is the best one to go to I’m never changing They take the time to know you and help you when needed at Emerson and Stop 11 CVS The CVS at Emerson and Edgewood is nothing compared to this one Their not so polite and helpful and Drive thru very rude and will close on you no matter what if it’s time for them to leave Use CVS At Emerson and stop 11 Indianapolis ??

Poor customer service did not have my prescription and made me drive to the other side of town saying they had it when they did not when all they had to do was make a call. Oh and I called before I even got there to confirm they had it just to arrive and them send me somewhere else that did not have it.

I live nearby and have used this pharmacy as my primary pharmacy for years. I have one medication that I only need to take occasionally when I have a flareup. This particular medication is EXTREMELY expensive and my insurance doesn't cover it so I have to shop around to find the best price. This is when I realize just how spoiled I've gotten at this CVS location. The staff here are always pleasant, professional and helpful. Are there times when things don't run perfectly? Absolutely, but they always do their best and remain professional. What more can anyone ask from any business. So, thank you for all you've done for me through the years. You will continue to be my pharmacy of choice.

Called at 9:35 pm Nov 2, 2021 to ask Pharmacist question about meds I was prescribed. Sat on hold for 35 mins before I gave up. I understand that evening can be short staffed, but 35 mins is more than enough to take one call. Very disappointed. Had to wait to take my meds. Not okay.
