I was intrigued by this place's obscure placement in Carrollton, weird hours (12 - 6 on select days) and secrecy--you have to "buzz" the owner for her to let you in. Surely there was something in side that was worth all the red tape! Well ... yes and no. Owner Bernie Dinwiddie stocks a lot of her own fashions, reconstructed from vintage fabrics or clothing pieces that she tears apart to put back together again. The result is a frayed-edges, quirky kind of aesthetic. She also makes home accessories; a giant ovular floor rug was stuffed to be puffy; a red, heart-shaped throw pillow had a black ribbon laced through it, evoking racy homestyle. The look isn't for everyone (I, personally, prefer a more refined vintage--less frayed edges and more contemporary fabrics), but some take to it right away. Beware that her clothes seem to run a bit large. They're fairly priced.
