It's dirty and they were letting a dog run aground unleashed. A woman complained she was afraid of dogs and requested they leash the dog and cashier refused to ask the dog owner to leash his dog. I love dogs and the dog was friendly, but not everyone else likes dogs. It's against the law.

It's cluttered. The front of the building is always trashed. That is, the trash cans are over full. Trash all over the sidewalk. Trash around the building. Doors are dirty, liquid thrown at or spilt on them. Interior is always cluttered despite associates trying. This store is needed for the neighborhood. But the neighborhood doesn't respect the store.

The store was in the process of being tidied by a number of employees, some of whom apologized to me about the disorder. I appreciated that and told them I didn’t mind a little mess; it’s because they have SO MUCH merchandise, and I’d rather that than empty shelves. This store is consistently a place where I find things not in other DT locations. I have 5 DT stores I shop (depending upon where I’m traveling) and this is one of the best for both stock & variety. The employees were all friendly, some even asked if I needed help locating anything. The cashier was quick, bagged my liquid cleaner separately (TY!), and was also nice. A good experience during the busy Christmas shopping season. 👏🏻
