Ellenberger Park is a nice, small park with lots of different attractions. Much of the park is currently under construction for cleaner water, but it remains a great place for a walk or a run, featuring trails and lots of little hideouts. It is a quiet park and a true reflection of the community, where everyone mixes together. The park offers a 25-meter pool with one lane, tennis and pickleball courts which host tournaments, and an indoor rink for events like soccer and inline skating. There is an okay-sized playground for kids with swings and rings, which is safe and well-maintained. For picnics, there are tons of different tables and areas that are very well maintained and freshly painted, perfect for barbecues, parties, or family reunions. The park is very friendly to dogs, with good waste disposal systems, and people love walking their dogs here. A market occurs at the park with a wide variety of vendors, and next to the main building, there is fun and engaging artwork from local artists. Seasonal events include a very in-depth and well-executed haunted house. Restrooms are located inside the building, though they can sometimes lack maintenance due to staff shortages. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. Overall, it is a great place to get engaged and enjoy yourself.
Quiet and nice to walk along the river paths and listen to owls. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go back in summer to look at the stars

Beautiful and quiet park, a great space for family gatherings and cookouts. The weather was also really nice when I was there so I'm a little biased.
