I am not a patient, but I have a family member who is. I have been listening to this person for years tell me how Dr. Stookey has given up on them and how the staff - front desk, nurses, NPs, doctors - do not seem to care anymore. My family member has begged for responses to messages or emails and is completely ignored for weeks. Reading other reviews, I see that my family member is not alone. These so-called medical professionals are mentally wearing patients down. I will be looking into whether the lack of communication with desperate patients warrants a review by a third party or the AMA (I would hope someone would step in), beceause THIS PRACTICE IS DANGEROUS!!

My spouse and I love this office. They are running on time for appointments every day. Dr Giffen is fantastic. He listens. He’s knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients.

The pediatricians my son has seen are amazing!! But the receptionists are awful. I think I’ve talked to one that’s actually pleasant and doesn’t sound like they hate their job. I’ve also called and left messages before (during business hours even) that were never returned. I would love to keep taking my son here because Dr. Hill-Birk is wonderful, but the scheduling experiences are terrible.

Not an office I would recommend; the staff is sighed snobby or nice depending on the day (understandable), but it is nearly impossible to get in. I've been a patient here my whole life and I have not been able to see my provider once in the past 3 years. 3 YEARS! Their problem is they have too many clients.

Been a patient for 25+years. Can’t get my doctor to call in a refill after being out for 7 days. Called 2 times and messaged 4. Now having significant headaches and stomach issues. What happens if it was an emergency!!! ?

Been a going here over 10 years. Recently Dr. Robinette has been refusing to even schedule an appointment with me. No reason just last call told the nurse to tell me to go to urgent care or med check! Will not be returning to this office!!!!! Go somewhere else!!!!!!

Awful experience having 77 yr old mother turned away at the counter because we were 20 mins late for an appointment. We drove an hour and a half to be there! Her temporary provider today, NP Amanda, suggested we go to Urgent Care since we suspect internal shingles in my mother. Uh - if we wanted that low level of care we wouldn't have made the miserable drive to see a supposed professional!! Where is the objectivity? Where's the compassion for what this elderly woman went thru to be present? (Parkinson's and degenerative disc disc disease/arthritis makes riding in a vehicle nearly unbearable. Now, add on the searing burn and intense itch of potential shingles.)Where's the triage of patient needs? Why couldn't one patient overlap another by 10 minutes? Really?!?!Amanda can explain to Dr. Stookey why she lost this patient after 15 or so years.

It takes weeks to be seen for anything, you will literally beg for any help, any doctor available and they never do anything but kick the can down the road, unfortunately it’s been this way for years. 20+ year patient, so fed up.

Regardless of doctor we see, they all seem very nice and are good with kids or big kids. Dr Grannan is my favorite on the kids side. Great place and the atmosphere and environment are good.

I have been a patient at Geist Family Medicine for twenty years. It's a doctor office I get it. GFM is so much more than that. My doctor Danica Vasilchek is just a wonderfully compassionate human being. Being our doctor for twenty years now you get to know each other. Being it sharing family stories or a problem more complicated. She's listens intently.That's what it feels like to be a patient here. A friendly staff that takes excellent care of you. I love this place!

This practice clearly takes on more patients than they can handle. It's about the bottom line and is clearly poorly managed.
