I have been with this credit union for almost 30yrs I love the home feeling from everyone you enter act with. I love the safety features they have in place to protect your interest so just anyone can't call and get any information on your account. Thank you FFCU!?

Will be closing my account out very soon. The rules are not consistent. They randomly placed a 2 day hold on my payroll check without telling me until I drove away. When I spoke to the manager there was no clear answer or reason for this being done. I have been a member for 10 years and so has my family. I have no issues with procedures and rules but if they are not consistent I cannot plan ahead.

Called on behalf of someone else to get BASIC information on what documentation was needed to open a specific type of account. At no point did I ask for information regarding the person or their accounts. The person I spoke with was very rude and said because I wasn't a member she nor her supervisor would discuss ANYTHING with me. Poor service to your members. Also, really turns someone off if they were considering becoming a member. I will recommend that no one open an account or do business with FFCU. I have now suggested to the person I was calling on behalf of to withdraw all monies from this establishment and open the account somewhere else.

Doesn't even deserve 1/3 star. I opened an account to obtain a secured credit card. (500$ savings account to obtain a credit card with a 500$ limit. ) I had the card maybe 6 months. For three pay periods I had over draft fees and late payment penaltees .. Why? Because while I made payments 2-3 weeks before the due date, in FULL mind you, each time they "accidentally" cut my checks in half while opening the envelope. Instead of contacting me and letting me know and allowing me to send another check or process a payment over the phone they sent the check back to me with no notification that the payment was not processed and has the audacity to charge me late fees! THAT'S 3/6 BILLING CYCLES WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT THIS. But wait it doesn't stop there. After closing my accounts I left 1$ in the savings to keep my membership with them. I had signed up for accidental death life insurance through them. It was 30/quarter. I NEVER received any other information about the insurance. Never got an account it policy number not even a phone number to contact them! After closing my account through all the bs I went through with the credit card I get an overdraft fee of 33$ from the savings I left open with the 1$. Furious I inquire, it was the life insurance quarterly payment that was due. They were supposed to send me a bill in the mail, but instead of sending me anything they did a direct withdrawal from my savings. It's as if they are specifically and systematically trying to destroy my credit! I call the fire fighters credit union and they informed me they would call me back with the phone number to reach this life insurance company. Well adding insult to injury they never called back and I had to call back. I never once yelled never was unreasonable never swore or was even condescending in my tone let alone rude. They 100% took advantage of me, continue to do so are lying cheating shady individuals who can't get anything right. I 110% advise you to STAY AWAY from anything affiliated with this business. Worst experience of my LIFE
