I walked in to place a order to go and the two employees looked at each other and the guy working said we are closed I responded with did you close early it’s not 9 and he said yes so we left not sure why the door was still unlocked if they were closed

I went to firehouse subs for me and my mom today because I raved about the Italian sub we used to get before my dad passed away. I was craving the sandwich and wanted to experience it with my mom.When I arrived the place was empty except for 4 workers behind the counter. I waited for the cashier to take my order and after throwing bread on the counter in an extremely rude and angry way. She starred at mean very angry and I ask with a smile are you ready to take my order. She didn’t say anything and continued to stare at me. I ordered 2 Italian subs to go and she mumbled white or wheat and that was it. I waited 30min and during that time there were 5 other customers that came in and left when they yelled out that they have 17 orders ahead of them and it would be 30 minutes. I wish they would have told me that because I would have left. When I got home the sub was soggy and meat flopped all over-it wasn’t even toasted. I threw both sandwiches away and I am extremely disappointed and disgusted about service and quality. The staff wasn’t de-gloving after touching their hair etc... All shirts worn were dirty and their appearance was dirty and unkept.I won’t be coming back to this establishment ever again.

Every time we get food from here something is wrong, made incorrectly, or just missing.Order from today had something wrong with every item ordered and nearly half the order was missing, including drinks, chips, and desserts.There was also hair in my food.I tried calling the restaurant and no one was answering the phone.

I recently move to Indy and have enjoyed Firehouse Subs near my previous work location for years. I was excited to see a location near my new house. I was majorly disappointed at the attitude of the workers that serving me and me eating inside at 6pm on a Tuesday was an inconvenience to their texting. My sub was barely warm and everything about the experience was unwelcoming. If this is the norm, then my once a week visits of the past will not continue. I know what a good experience is and this was not it by far.

Just walked in at 5:52 on Tuesday the open sign was off the looked mad we was there sounds like you might wanna hire a new crew with attitude that that you don’t deserve business this location used to be the best not anymore smh

So this is the third time we come here in over a year. We love firehouse subs, but we always regret coming to this location. They are SO SLOW and LAZY! You are never greeted with a smile, and every customer there seemed to be unhappy with the service too.They really need to rethink the kind of people they want working there!

Update 3/13/24I always believe in giving people a second chance since we decided we would try to go hear one more time. We arrived and there was a modest crowd not much that was already seated. There were four or five employees behind the counter. We stood at the restaurant waiting to get our order taken for over 10 minutes. Finally I ask is anyone assigned to the register? At that time a lady said that she would be to the register as soon as she could they were working out problems and some messes they had. She could have stopped and taken our order it wouldn't have taken just a few seconds to do and they had one black gentleman who was staying there doing nothing he could have replaced her the woman was tall white had no dentures in as I could tell. They weren't very friendly there was another tall white boy and another black female there again none of them willing to take an order we ended up leaving and going to Arby's. I only get a chance a few times this is like a third try and it's still not working. I don't know if this is a franchise or a corporate store I said once a year ago that they should let the owners come down and look at this if they did they close it. Somebody I guess you have to take account it's beech Grove.I really wish to the founders would come down and look at this I don't think they'd be very happy.Update August 13th 2020really wish the founders would look into this there were 8 patrons with no masks on, half of the staff spend halg of the time with their masks off. The manager was walking around wit a clip board but failed to correct the problem. I guess the governors mandate does not apply here. It also took 20 minutes to get two sandwiches prepared. 6 people working. No customers. I will no longer go to this location.

I walked in at 6:30pm 3/07/24 and there was NO ONE in the restaurant other than the 4 workers. They bickered back and forth while I stood there. I ordered a sub and some hot sauce. While I was waiting there were about 6 other people that walked in the place. They were able to take 3 steps inside the building before they were informed that it would be about 30-35min wait to order anything. Needless to say that they turned around and left. I was NOT informed about this due to them bickering. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to go somewhere else before I payed $21. The dude making the food was swearing loudly making it even more unpleasant to be here. Only reason I came in here was to surprise my wife and get her a bottle of the hot sauce. Wish I hadn’t.

Sandwiches were good. Bread was soft. I did order a Veggie sub and it was a bit scarce on veggies. Will be trying it again but will go in person to order.

I have been there 3 times since I moved to Beech Grove and my order has been wrong every time. I called customer service and they they didn't help me either. Jimmy John's to the rescue!

My family has tried to give this restaurant multiple chances because it’s one of my son’s favorite places to eat, but we will now just save our cravings for firehouse subs until we can travel to a different location. Every time we have come here in the past year it has been dirty and quickly becomes crowded because the service is just so slow. Today it took about 35 minutes for my family of 4 to receive their sandwiches after ordering and we were one of only two small families in the restaurant at the time. We heard lots of chatter behind the counter but did not see a lot of movement by the 3 employees working today. I don’t leave many bad reviews, but like I said we have given many chances and will sadly not be back.
