I believe that no one at this place is trained.... I have had to talk to four different people to try and save my health coverage and they all keep giving me nonsense .... I am actually infuriated... but no one seems to care. DO BETTER!!

Like everyone else is saying. The workers seem to not have knowledge of how to properly get things done and unfortunately people in need suffer from others incompetence.

Can’t even give you a document stating that you no longer have coverage with them to apply for other insurance. I lost my coverage because someone didn’t want to read all of my proof of income documents. Would give a zero if I could. No one cares about helping you at this facility.

I put one star, but I wish I could’ve put zero! These people do not care about our lives and our healthcare and our food stamps and our TANF they do not give a shit! I just spoke with the lady and I can’t remember her name. I wish I could now, at the Frankfort office and she was so rude & was no help at all. And it’s causing me to lose all of my benefits, my son‘s healthcare and my healthcare, when I got everything in on time. When you call one person will tell you something. The next person will tell you something else , none of these people work together, which causes me to lose my benefits, that Lady needs to be fired.
0 stars ! They are mean and do not care about you. There is one lady at the Franklin, office, the older lady, She’s the only one that knows what she’s talking about, but I don’t have a car , so I can’t go up there and see her.

I have had the misfortune to have to interact with this agency multiple times over the last several years, due to having a child with a disability. I have worked for 3 other government agencies and I can tell you this is the absolute WORST run state agency in Indiana. The amount of incompetency is unparalleled. I believe they go out of their way to hire people who literally know nothing about their jobs. There must be no training whatsoever, and no incentive for the employees to do their jobs. It is government beaurocracy and laziness at its worst. I wish there were an alternative, but we are at their mercy. God help you if you need anything from FSSA.

This is for Marion office as there is not a place to review their address! The FSSA at Marion is an awful place to deal with. They do not allow a reasonable amount of time to complete forms and provide information. I often had only two or three working days to do that by the time it gets to me in the mailing system...and this includes getting it back to them! When I asked for an extension due to my health issues (I am disabled) it was refused, thus breaking Americans with Disabilities Act. I have formally complained about the ongoing situation (including to the director) but have not received a response regarding the said issues. I even had a claim initially refused because I did not participate in a phone interview...one of the letters arrived AFTER the appointed time! It is my understanding should give 30 days from sending a letter through the post and expecting it back. These people just don't and will not do that, despite me stating this and giving evidence of my views verbally and in print. They should be investigated as I do not think that they are fit for purpose!

If the staff doesn't report your paperwork, or give you accurate information, your case will be closed. I was here for Impact, finshed orientation. A rep from the orientation was supposed to CALL ME to discuss my paperwork. They never called, so despite me turning in paperwork from the orientation, and speaking to impact staff the day after, interacting with everyone, I get a non compliance! After doing everything I, was supposed to do. Daniel is the supervisor and still proceeded after seeing the paperwork and being told the situation. I guess it's easier to just deny instead of taking accountability.

Angie was kind and helpful. Everyone else I spoke to lied to me about what I needed to do. If you can’t do your job then find a job you can do and give yourself to someone who wants it

Nobody here knows what they're doing. You always get a different answer depending on who you ask and 90% of the time it's wrong.

Very helpful!
My partner needed to ensure he was able to continue Medicaid benefits after he lost his job and employer insurance. They scanned the documents and also confirmed that they were in his benefits portal if we uploaded to the FSSA Benefits Portal. I did make a few trips to ensure all documents were received during this process. Finally, Iwas able to talk to a social worker and they confirmed that his Medicaid was approved. Because the FSSA Benefits Portal did not reflect this information right away.
