The Garfield Park Arts Center is a nice and interesting spot, part of Indy Parks & Recreation. It is a great park that is very family oriented and quiet, with plenty of room. The facility itself has move and enough room, featuring performing arts spaces, visual arts galleries, classrooms, and a literary arts library. It engages visitors in diverse, artistic and cultural exhibitions, arts classes, and special events like Pour Paint sessions that are easy and fun. The arts area upstairs hosts really neat expos with diverse art. There is a stage for music, arts and crafts. The park offers plenty of walkways, hills, fresh cut grass, and large trees for shade. It is a perfect place to be outside, read a book, or practice yoga. Weekends are usually busy in the park.

I vended at the arts and music festival this past weekend and it was amazing! The vibes of the art center are awesome and they advertise so well, it was the best market we have sold at in a while as far as people actually showing up
