Went for the first time today to get a pedicure. Haven’t been able to come get one in a couple months and the lady that did it talked about my feet the entire time. She did an okay job, nothing spectacular. Definitely not good enough to make me so uncomfortable the whole appointment. Not sure if I’ll return but they’re good in a pinch ig.

I picked out a blue color and when the lady started painting it was maroon so I eventually said something. She end up "taking" it off left the maroon on the sides a bit when I got bubble gum pink. So they didn't look get and 1 week later they are falling off.

I went to Gentle Nails today for the first time. I was pretty desperate on NYE and they were able to accommodate me with a mani/pedi. I’ll say it’s not really fancy but I am impressed with the results so far. The original dark silver color I picked wasn’t available but I was happy with the color Monica picked instead. I would have given 5 stars if cleanliness were better. They should be using new gloves for each customer and sterilizing tools they use. The smell was very strong while I was waiting too and it was a little hard to communicate during the appt. I would compare this to a “hole in the wall” restaurant where the environment and such is not what you’d want in a salon but the overall quality of the services were great and what I needed. Happy new year! :-)
