This is by far the best veterinarian I've ever dealt with- he has literally saved my pets life on more than one occasion. Dr. Kiefer is kind, patient and explains things to me in a way I can understand without talking down to me. The office staff and veterinary assistants are all like family. I could not ask for anything more.

Unfortunately the regret we feel choosing this vet several years ago to care for our cat is immense. We brought our cat into this doc several times over the past five years or so inquiring about his chronic ear infections, frequent vomiting, unusual thirst, and lumps on his body. Each visit was quick, we never once saw this doc give our cat a thorough exam. I felt dismissed when I asked questions about what could possibly be causing his symptoms, but my SO felt good about the doc so we continued to see him. We were told the vomiting was our fault for keeping his collar on too tight. We were told to give him a medication in a yellow bottle with no official lable on it for his never ending ear infections, which did little to nothing each time. We were told his ear infections were caused by poultry in his food, so we switched to food that had no poultry in it (only available in grain free foods). We were told the lump in his belly was a lipoma. We recently decided after our cat suddenly became very ill, to go to Eagle Creek animal clinic instead as we basically lost faith with this doc. There our cat was immediately diagnosed with end stage kidney failure, explaining the chronic thirst and vomiting and belly lump. We learned the grain free food we were pushed to switching to caused his hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and certainly could've contributed to his kidney disease. Not that it really matters at this point but the actual prescription ear medication the new vet gave us cleared up the ear infection we have been fighting all these years in just weeks. Our cat is dying from something that should've been detected and managed years ago, and we will never forgive or return to this vet. I would only recommend this vet to those looking for the cheap fix.

So it’s with a sad/broken heart I write this review. Our little Mami (Yorkie) recently gave birth. She hadn’t been doing well soon after. We took her to another emergency vet, however they could not say what was wrong with her. This morning she was not acting like herself and when I called her name she didn’t respond. I picked her up and ran out the door and took her to Georgetown Animal Hospital. Unfortunately I didn’t make it in time. The staff and vet were soo very patient and kind above expectation. They went above and beyond to show us how to care for the newborn puppies now that mom is gone. They were very informative, took time to explain everything, walked us through everything and even gave us free puppy formula, bottles etc… I highly highly highly recommend this establishment. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
