Anyone that steps into the journey of using a C-Pap machine for the first time like myself had a lot of questions. Then I met "Mel" aka Melissa. To say that she answered any and all of my questions & concerns is an understatement. She was professional yet eager and "prepared" for whatever I needed to know. From set up to cleaning, ordering supplies... if she told you how you needed to maintain your equipment she also explained why and the negative result of not doing it correctly. She also went over - of course - the many benefits of how my machine would vastly improve my overall health. I physically felt better walking out of their facility before ever getting the chance to use my new equipment.

Came here for some compression socks for post-surgery. I walked in, wasn’t greeted, walked over to the compression sock area. Started looking at what they had, a woman came over and asked what I was looking for. I told her exactly what I needed, size and strength. She said ok and then just stood there and watched me, like I was about to steal something. I asked her if she knew exactly which ones were the kind I was looking for and she said “ These are all we have so they will be in here somewhere.” Continued to stand 3 feet from me and just stared. I walked out. Very unhelpful and rude. I do not recommend. Also overpriced.

I've been working with Mel and Home Respiratory Services for about 8 years. Mel and her team are great to work with! I picked up my second CPAP machine and new mask last week and Mel was very thorough in answering all of my questions. I rate them 7 out of 5 Stars and would not go any place else.

My Respiratory Therapist help set me up with these people a number of years ago. I just had to change providers as required by law. I am more than happy to give them a good review. These people have always been nice and helpful to me. The drivers have always been great. I got to know people by name and them me. I will miss them. If I had any issue with a product the came next day and replaced it. If it was my oxygen concentrator they came within hours of course. I would recommend them to anyone. If my mom had COPD like me, I tell her to use them. Looking for a new company? Check them out please. Thanks!

After calling half a dozen other "medical supply companies" all of which did not answer the phone, some put me on hold forever, other ones phones disconnected, blah blah. but when i called Home Respiratory Services, they answered right away and said yes they do carry a number of cpap supplies. i was desperate because i cant sleep without my cpap. anyway i stopped in and the very courteous salesman had exactly the part i needed. give these folks a call. very happy with them!!!

I hate writing negative reviews but if it's warranted, I feel people should be made aware.I had HRS recommended to me by my sleep medicine doctor so I thought I would try them.Pros:friendly and helpful service staff on siteWide variety of sleep CPAP accessories availableWork closely with insurance companyCons:Bookkeeping nightmare (e.g. had my last name still spelled wrong after several corrections)Home visits for supplies drop offs on their schedule, not yoursNever received automatic phone call for replacement CPAP equipmentFrustrating customer service via phoneAccidentally visited my home to pick up CPAP; request was for another clientOverall, I cannot recommend. Purchased my own CPAP to separate from RHS.

I will never use Home Respiratory Services again. First, No personal contact after 1st initial set up. Expect a computer to call every quarter to ask if you need supplies. There is no option to request a person to call you back in case you have any questions. Very poor customer service in this regard. Second, when my insurance changed I was requested to send my SD card back to HRS to verify usage of my CPAP. It took over two weeks for me to receive the new SD card with a return envelope for the old SD card. I sent the old SD card back immediately and never heard back from HRS until I called them. I was told by HRS that they could not find my SD card after being on hold for 15 minutes and was asked to wait again until they figure out what to do. I stated that I did not have time to hold any longer please call me back at my cell number. The HRS representative agreed to call back. Well that was a week ago and still haven’t heard from HRS. I recommend that you spend your and your insurance's money on a company that understands good customer service.

I have been using these folks for over a year. My previous experience was with Pro2 and they couldn't seem to find their butt with both hands. I was very wary when I started with HRS and other then them giving me the wrong price for one item, I have been more than pleased with their service and professionalism. The deal with the masks is that they charge for every other headgear but unlike other providers they do not take the headgear out of the package the other times and give it to you for free. Since I live close, I often pick up my supplies but the times I have had them ship them, they came promptly.

Strange lady staff that has trouble answering questions without reading into the question and assuming.

This was my first experience with a home healthcare provider. They took advantage of my lack of experience. In the one year of service I had with them they overcharged me by forcing me to buy new CPAP masks that came bundled with headgear, clips, cushions thereby forcing me to pay for parts I did not need, this is a scam. Many providers give clients the option to purchase individual parts as needed to save money. Do not let them tell you what you must buy.I was sent defective equipment and told because it was delivered here that I accepted it as defective, and they refused to replace it, this is a scam. When I finally switched insurance and they knew they could make more money off of my new insurance they decided to charge old purchases to my new insurance regardless of the fact that I was covered by the previous insurance when the parts were purchased. This is insurance fraud. The people that work here are trained in many means of deception and count on your ignorance to continue these unethical practices. You have options, many, many options. Buy from someone else!
