The customer service line is a big scam from what I experienced. For one I wish we could actually talk to people in our actual state and not different states too much confusion, so I have the standby cash option, I use the transfer when times get tough and so every time I get my check automatically pay the money back ,so last week made a transfer on July 19th and now my account has opted in early pay so now I get paid early so the next day on the 20th when my check hit my account that was the first thing I did was pay the standby account so Friday rolls around now it’s July 21st money has not been processed and I thought that’s odd because normally it’s processed by the next day. So by Saturday morning July 22nd still no updates so I decided let me call customer service and the lady I talked to the first time very helpful but of course wasn’t in my state she saw my records and told me she could see where my payment was made on the 20th and that nothing was blocking the payment and she told me normally it can take a while she told me by Monday it should be processed cause of course weekends doesn’t count, so Monday rolls around still has not been processed so I waited until Tuesday morning still nothing has been processed so I call customer service again so now I’m talking to a whole new lady and have to bring her up to speed so now remember the lady told me she can see the payment was made on the 20th on file, now when I’m talking to this lady she states that there is no payment made for the 20th so okay where did the payment go? And then she proceeded to say that I didn’t owe anything and that I had my line of credit but on my end it says that I still owe a fee then after that proceeds to get smart and say she had no reason to make this up and that it says right here I don’t owe anything so okay again where did the payment go just from three days ago so I feel that I was robbed out of my money and had to come out of my pocket again and pay this fee again so now I’m in the process of having the account shut down because I don’t like the fact that I’m basically being told that I didn’t make a payment when I know I did and your not listening to what the customer is telling you, and the lady stated that she seen the records of the payment I just wish they can improve the customer service line and make it where you can only talk to people from your state cause right now it feels like a big scam and a big miscommunication.

Their car loans are a trap to make you incur late fees never have I had more trouble paying a bill than my car loan through this bank.They make it very difficult to set up auto pay and when I came into the branch they offered me no help and told me to go online they would not let me use their fax machine to send the auto payment even. Yes that’s right getting this on auto pay does involve a fax machine if you do not want to create a Huntington bank account

Tried opening a savings account at 4:15. Bank closes at 5:00. Very abrupt teller borderline rude. Basically refusing to help. Saying it takes 45 minutes to open and you need an appointment. I guess they are determining whose business they want. No worries went up the street to a different bank and no problems. Actually did us a favor the other bank had better terms.

I am a new customer to Huntington Bank and I had a horrible experience with them today I was treated like a criminal when I took a money order in to deposit it in my account they put a 6 day hold on the funds which I was fine with but then I find out that they locked my debit card and my online banking because the money order had a hold on it I was talked to very rudely by the branch manager and she didn’t care that her tell told me when I did the deposit it would post the next business day which was a lie I feel like I was treated wrongly at the beach because I was black and they thought I stole the money order once the account is cleared I will be closing my account immediately and I will never do business with Huntington if I could give zero stars I would worst service ever

My fiance told me to go open an account to put my settlement money in because he bank here. Let's just say no thanks came here young lady at the bank took me to the office, then said she couldn't open an account for me unless I had a utility bill with my name on it. My fiance pay all bills but I have mail and everything proving I live here. Her attitude was not even worth the hassle. I leave to go to bank of America and had no problems even they were blown by the having to have a utility bill. Maybe her phone had more of her attention then her actual job. However I truly believe it was my skin color my fiance changed banks after this because he feels the same about why I wasn't taken care of.

The ATM there is always having issues. The night before I deposited cash and it just took my cash and did not put it in my account! It would not give me my card back either!

Very nice and helpful tellers, as well as the loan officer/management staff. I havent had an issue in the 20 years banking with this company or with any of the branches I have used.

Not a fan of getting talked to like an idiot. I get I'm young, but the man I attempted to set up an account with spoke to me in such a condescending tone that I will not be coming back.
