I used my online bill pay to direct deposit funds into a person's account. The money was deposited into someone elses account and they will not return it. Instead, they froze my account and I have no access to my own money. I would never use this bank again.

I had so hoped I'd be able to write a positive review of Huntington. Our initial experience, where my husband and I had had small individual checking accounts, was positive enough that we decided to transfer our main checking and savings accounts to Huntington. We spent a lot of time getting our electronic transfers and auto pays established at Huntington, ordered checks and looked forward to a good experience. We received confirmations that the transfers/autopays were in place. Imagine our surprise when Huntington canceled two of our electronic transfers without advising us. This created major problems and embarrassment as those on the receiving end were denied their money, even though there was more than a sufficient balance in our account. We also incurred fees from the receiving institutions due to Huntington's actions.We called the bank's customer service line and were told we needed to provide paper copies of the other banks and credit cards we had linked to our account but could not tell us why, or who would see this confidential information. When my husband went to the branch with these documents, no one knew anything about this "requirement." It took us a long and frustrating experience to finally get access to our transfers.I wrote to the bank President, since the branch and customer service couldn't tell us why this had happened and how future similar issues could be avoided. I wanted him to know the experience of a new customer. I did not hear from him but a few weeks later, I had a voice mail from someone from Huntington. He did not leave his name and when .I returned the call, his voice mail did not identify his name or the bank's name but I left a message anyway.I received a call back from Ryan Mahargh (though he never gave me his name and I had to ask). He had no information to share. I really don't know why he called me. He said he was a regional director over the retail branches. He was unable to explain what had happened, telling me that "that is part of security and they don't tell us about that." He said my experience was unusual. He expressed no apology for inconvenience, appreciation that we were customers or any of the niceties that would have helped smooth things over, such as covering the fees we incurred due to the bank's mistakes.He told me he would send our situation to the "Escalation Department" and told me I'd hear from them with 5 business days. When I asked if he would be following up with them to be sure I heard from them, he told me no, that once he turned it over to them, he was finished with it. When I asked for a name/phone number of someone in that department in case I didn't hear anything, he told me he couldn't provide that to me.This call was more than a month ago and I have never heard from anyone from the 'Escalation department", Ryan Mahargh or anyone else from Huntington. My recommendation is to avoid this bank if you value customer service and a positive banking relationship. You won't find either here.

I came here last Saturday with my roommate to open a checking account and get a cashiers check. Kelsey was so kind and helpful, she even recommended a restaurant for lunch. We were assisted promptly and professionally!

This is incredibly ignorant. I started 9.13.2021 to have my mothers account closed (I am her POA) because we moved out of state where there are no TCF Banks. $31.00 was the balance on her account. I was told to send in a notarized statement to her branch and it would be taken care of. What a joke of an establishment to work with. At least 12 calls made, numerous individuals, they finally told me I had to fill out a stop payment (because of course a 96 yr young Senior is going to steal $31). So I did this on 12.14.21. Still have not received mom's money and now when I call they don't see me on mom's account a her POA which I have been for over 3 years! So I am on eternal hold AGAIN to try and resolve this. If not resolved I will go to the media and Attorney General on how this company does not want and has not returned a Senior's $31.00! Pathetic business practice. Just pathetic!

The Huntington Bank located @ 45 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, Indiana handled an already difficult situation concerning my mother with care and compassion. Ariana (teller) and the branch manager Jim were AMAZING to me. They were very kind, patient and did all they could to help me help my mother. Thank you so very much and I highly recommend this location for your banking needs.

I called....I'm still currently on hold as I type. Ms Rudy Rudeness answered the phone immediately with an attitude like it's my fault she can't count money & it's my fault she works at a bank..... I just do unfortunate business here. She slammed that phone so loud & mad... I forgot what a good old fashioned phone slam sounded like.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 I'm glad she isn't a 911 Dispatch.... You will die on hold with her

Great branch!! I can't say the same for some of the other Huntington branches. I've been banking with Huntington for almost 2 years now, and this branch is by far my favorite. I come in at least once every 2 weeks. I love the way each employee treats the customer. It makes me feel like they actually care about me and my money concerns and needs. They're always so generous and go above and beyond to provide great customer service. I think some of the other branches need to take a look at this place and take some notes on how to better please the customer. Keep it up Huntington and we could have a long term business with you as my bank
