Ordered fried pickles, probably the best we have ever had! Great fries too! Paid extra $1 to try different sauces. The sandwich was good but I did not care for the bread choices. I wish I could have had my chicken in a lettuce wrap. Great that they have a parking lot across the street.

Just not what I'm looking for in a burger spot, but my friend loves it.Heavy metal themed burger joint in Fountain Square. They do play music, but its easy to understand everyone in your party. Some folks may not care for the decor. The server was on point with refilling drinks, which is a huge plus for me. Condiments were very hard to get enough of. One small ramekin of ketchup is never adequate for a burger and its fries. They have some different/fun burger offerings that are each named for bands that will reach cost you ~$20 and come with fries or chips. The fries are pretty basic but have no extra personality. Friends said the chips were good.Burgers come on pretzel buns. I Always think that a toasted bun is better. They do not toast their buns.Biggest complaint is that the burgers were not cooked correctly. They only offer medium or well done. I ordered medium, and it was cooked all the way through. No juiciness at all. Not burnt by any means but definitely not medium.I would not go back on my own, but I get why my friend likes it.Parking: They own a parking lot across the street, and there is already street parking.

We have been looking forward to trying Kuma's....went in tonight to eat at the bar, they have one TV, which was showing some cheesy action flick, which no one was watching. My wife kindly asked if they could switch the TV over to the NCAA tournament basketball game...we were told that would be a "hard no". Imagine my gumption to ask that the TV be switched from a mediocre action flick that no one was watching to something with the broad cultural cachet of March Madness. I flipped the bartender a fiver and we walked out. This is not a food review, I'm sure their burgers are delish. Stay too cool for school, Kuma's, I wish you success. But I won't be back

I love Kuma's corner! The first time was in Chicago and was very shocked they had one in Indianapolis, so my wife and I had to go! Great food as usual, and I love the vibe. The staff was nice and attentive. If you're looking for great burgers, bar, and metal songs in the background, this place is for you. Also they have the best Mac&cheese imo!

Met some friends here for dinner on Friday night. We were greeted quickly, and got to order not too long after sitting down. The place was picking up around the time we got there, so it got a little bit loud. The place felt nice and clean. I had the neurosis burger with no mushrooms. I ordered the burger medium well, and it was cooked that way. The burger was pretty thick- as I would expect for a $19 burger (with side). The fries were crunchy. The veggies were fresh. My only complaint was the server didn't come around much when we got our food and I could have went for some more ketchup- always hate it when ketchup isn't on the table and I'm limited. Overall, great experience and eager to come back and try some new burgers.

I've been to Kuma's several times since it opened in the ever-developing fountain square area. Today after stopping for down the street for a quick nail clip for the doggo, we decided to treat ourselves with an afternoon burger. As usual the food was good. I order the 'sour vein' burger, which is actually a tasty piece of chicken atop a hefty burger patty with bacon and waffles to boot. I subbed a house salad as I was already carbing it up with the burger and a couple beers. Though the burger really was delicious, it had less flavor than the description might suggest. I didn't really taste the raspberry aioli, which is what sold me on the dish to begin with. Still, very yummy anyway. The prices have risen steadily, and do seem excessive (much like the housing in the area I suppose). I will say that at least the portions are adequate- you do get a big burger, and the salad substitute was almost large enough to justify its 5$ up charge. What earns Kuma an extra star in my book was the dog friendly attitude and staff. They were happy to sit my pitty and I on the patio, and fired up the overhead heaters so that we would be nice and toasty. The bartender even brought my lady friend (peanut the pit bull) a bowl of water for her to lap at while I ate. Peanut gives the piece of waffle I let her try an A++. Overall, very cool staff, good food, fun metal atmosphere, a tad pricey for a burger spot (20$ burgers are a hard sell under any circumstance).

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday. Atmosphere is fantastic if you're into sorta dive/metal bars. It isn't intimidating at all, and is clearly clean, but has a cool edge to it. Service was phenomenal.I ordered a special burger, and it was large! The toppings made it quite a mess of flavors and a challenge to eat, but that's honestly the fun in a burger place like this. Unfortunately the burger was a little on the dry side and I feel that the burger itself didn't seem to be seasoned very much. Maybe a bad day, maybe my palate was off, maybe they intend it to be more on the plain side to highlight the toppings.I don't know.I do know that I would 100% come back for another burger, NA beer (they have a bunch), and the atmosphere.Even though the burger was the "weakest" point of my experience, I still enjoyed it. I want to make that clear.

The sole downside of Kuma’s is that I don’t get to go very often.Great burgers, great drink selection, and great music.
